Post Matric Scholarship :
The last date for submission of Online application has been extended up to 31st August, 2016.The scholarship amount will be disbursed directly to beneficiaries’ bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode by Government of India. All the other terms and conditions will remain the same

Objective:
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarship to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists,Jains and Parsis) so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.
Eligibility & Conditions For Scholarship:
Scholarship is awarded to the students who are studying in Govt. or private schools, colleges, universities etc. and who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. The annual income of the parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lacs. The student should be resident of Punjab State and regular in attendance. Scholarship will not be given to more than two students in a family.
Procedure For Applying:
Students of all institutions apply online to the concerned institute registered in the website: www.scholarships.gov.in. The scholarship amount of the approved students is transferred electronically in their bank accounts.
