State Level Talent Search Examination :

State Institute of Science Education, Pb. shall be conducting the State level Talent Search Examination for the year 2016-2017 on 06.11.2016 to select 99 students from class 10th.

National Level Examination will be conducted by N.C.E.R.T., New Delhi on 14 May 2017. Students studying in 10th Class in State Govt., Kendriya Vidyalyas, Navodaya Vidyalyas or any other type of recognized/ affiliated schools, situated in Punjab securing minimum 70% marks for general category and 55% mark for SC/ST/ physically challenged students in 9th class annual examination are eligible.

Admission form :
Admission forms can be filled on school login id at education department portal epunjabschool.gov.in from 5.8.2016 to 31-8-2016 .Schools/students can down load their admit card from 15-9-2016

Reservation:
As per National Reservation Norms there will be 15% reservation for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% reservation for Physically challenged Group of Candidates i.e. 1% for each group namely hearing, physically and visually challenged group of students irrespective of caste category (General, SC, ST).

It is necessary for the candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe Category to attach the scaned attested copy of the certificate regarding reserve caste issued by SDM/Tehsildar at the time of filling the PP form.

Candidates belonging to physically challenged group of children must attach the attested copy of certificate issued by the competent authority stating that the child suffer from 40% or more as per the P.W.D. act 1995 disability and that the disability is of permanent/ temporary nature.

The candidate will be considered in general category if the above mentioned certificate does not attach with application form.No admission fee is charged for this examination.
