College Scholarships (Lbes-Cs : 2015) :
ELIGIBLITY :
College students studying in recognized University/College/Institute etc. in undergraduate programs and first year postgraduate programs are eligible to apply.

Age limit :
There is no minimum age limit; maximum age limit is 28 years on 30-07-2015.

In college category, scholarship is awarded to 5000 college students, 1000 each in the following five categories :
** Engineering
** Humanities & Social science
** Management/ commerce
** Medical
** Science

Each category of top 1000 rankers shall receive the following :
Rank Reward Award
1 Rs. 1,00,000 or three year college fees, whichever is lower Medal & certificate
2-5 Rs. 40,000 or two year college fees, whichever is lower Medal & certificate
6-10 Rs. 20,000 or one year college fees, whichever is lower Medal & certificate
11-25 Rs. 15,000 Certificate 26-50 Rs. 12,000 Certificate
51-100 Rs. 10,000 Certificate
101-200 Rs. 8000 Certificate
201-350 Rs. 7000 Certificate
351-500 Rs.6000 Certificate
500-1000 Rs.5000 Certificate

Important Dates :
** Electronic Notification Release (on website) 08-04-2015
** Last Date for Application Receipt from schools (phase I) 15-05-2015
** Lord Buddha Education Scholarship TEST Date 20-09-2015

Rules and Regulations :
** LBES is a pure merit scholarship with no reservation.
** Incomplete applications shall be rejected, any fee, if paid shall be fortified.
** All particulars of application form should be filled correctly.
** There is no restriction on number of attempt.
** Scholarship money shall be given in the form of bank check or bank transfer , in favor of student or student having a joint account with a parent. No cash award shall be paid.
** NBPT (education division) reserves all rights related to organizing, conducting and disbursement of Lord Buddha Education Scholarships.
** NBPT can make any change, if deemed necessary, without prior notice.
** No relaxation in age criteria shall be allowed.
** All funds shall be released by NBPT, only after due verification of candidate credentials.
** Any student can reappear to win scholarship again, even if he or she has won it in previous, there is no restriction.
** All prize money is paid only one time, in the current academic session.
** Only top 10 candidates, from each category, shall be invited to felicitation function in New Delhi.
** All dates are tentative, shall be finalized based on administrative and management issues.
