Dronacharya Skill Development Scheme :

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Dronacharya Skill Development Scheme for Unemployed Youth (DA-SDSUY)” in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2016-17.

Under this scheme, ABC Ltd will bear the fees for Skill Development as per the prescribed process for the selected applicants who undergo full time training.

Objective:
To develop skills among unemployed Brahmin youth and enable them to gainfully employed.

Scope:
This scheme is applicable for all unemployed Brahmin youth of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts. Broad list of areas selected for skill development is given below:

Eligibility:
** The applicant and his / her both parents should belong to Brahmin community and parents should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only).
** Age should not exceed 35 years as on the date of application.
** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose for the financial year 2016-17.

Application Procedure:
** Registrations will be opened from 13th June 2016
** Eligible candidates shall fill their application online only (andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty contact 1800 102 3579).
** Applications sent in any other means (physical copy, eMail, etc.) SHALL NOT be entertained.

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of min 50 kb to max 250 kb size each) of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste, Income and Residence certificate issued by competent authority
** SSC certificate
** Certificate of highest qualification (Intermediate / Degree/Post Graduation),
** Self-Declaration of unemployment
** Provisional Admission letter from the enlisted training institution (Optional) OR the name, address and contact details of institution the applicant proposes to join
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format)
** Andhra Bank pass book in the name of the Applicant
** Where the name of the institution is given admission letter needs to be produced before sanction, provided it is enlisted.
** Application will not be processed, if the uploaded documents are not in order or not clear and visible.
** After registration, applicants shall check their filled-in application along with uploaded documents for clarity and visibility and re-upload immediately, if required.

Selection process:
** Applications will be scrutinized at Central Level
** ABC Ltd has enlisted certain training institutions, after evaluation. However, institutions chosen by the applicant (not enlisted) will be evaluated by the State Level Selection Committee for enlisting.
** Financial assistance from the corporation shall be available only if the institution is enlisted and joining in any training institution not enlisted by the ABC Ltd will be at the cost of the applicant concerned.

Finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

Financial assistance will be provided as detailed below:
** Course-wise training fee will be finalised by the State Level Selection Committee.
** Training fee will be paid to the selected institute directly on receipt of attendance for providing full time training.

** Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) per day for outstation candidates towards meeting costs of lodging and boarding during the training for the entire duration of the training at the end of the training programme, on receipt of attendance, which will be credited into the SB account (Andhra Bank) of the selected candidate though online transfer. Account should be in the name of applicant.
