School Scholarships :
** (LBES) is a merit based educational scholarship; it is awarded to school students (class VI to XII) and college students (undergraduates and first year post graduates) on annual basis.

It is among the largest education scholarship programs in the country. It is an independent scholarship scheme, organized and awarded by National Bureau of Professional Testing, a non-profit assessment and education foundation. It is open to all students from class VI to class XII, studying in recognized by schools.
** It is awarded, on national level to 3000 school students and 5000 college students on annual, one time basis. Any student can reappear to win scholarship again, even if he or she has won it in previous, there is no restriction. Also 3500 students on state/ U.T level, under school category receive performance certificate and learning support.
** Selection of students for award of scholarship and disbursement of prize money is done through an objective type test : Lord Buddha Education Scholarship Test (LBEST).

School Scholarships (LBES-SS :2015) :
Age limit :
There is no minimum age limit; maximum age limit is 20 years on 30-10-2015.
LBES is awarded to 3000 school students, 1000 each in the following three categories :
** JUNIOR CATEGORY : Students entering to VI, VII, and VIII belong to this category.
** INTERMEDIATE CATEGORY : Students entering to class IX and X belong to this category.
** SENIOR CATEGORY : Students entering to class XI and XII belong to this category.
