LPUTFA-2015 (Test for Financial Aid)

The students not falling under the Scholarship Scheme> as mentioned above are eligible for the Financial Aid based on score in the test LPU – Test for Financial Aid (LPU – TFA)

In order to extend an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination or in National / State Level entrance tests owing to various personal, academic or procedure specific reasons and are therefore not able to derive the benefit of scholarship scheme of the University, LPU as its endeavor towards the social responsibility embraces upon LPUTFA-2015 which will adjudge the ability of the said applicants and will enable them to avail the financial aid as a support to continue their education in the best milieu for their better future.

Who can Apply :

All the applicants who have taken admission or provisionally registered for admission at LPU and have not availed any scholarship scheme offered by the University may apply for LPUTFA-2015.

However applicants taking admission on the basis of LPUNEST-2015 will not be required to appear for TFA separately as the score of equivalent Eligibility Test will be considered for deciding financial aid. Only the first attempt of equivalent eligibility test will be considered for financial aid.

How to Apply :

Based on the Programme in which admission has been taken, the applicant will opt for appropriate TFA Test Code (as mentioned under “Test Codes” ) on the “Application Form for LPUTFA -2015” .

The form filled in all respects should be submitted :
** either in person to the Admission Office at the University Campus or at the designated camp offices of the University or at such other places as specified by the University;
** by registered post/courier at the University Campus only.
** The University will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay and no correspondence/ inquiry will be entertained in this regard.

Last Date for the receipt of application form r :
LPUTFA-2015 Last date for the receipt of Application Form for LPUTFA-2015 will be 3 days before the date of test
e.g. if the applicants wants to take test on 27th May, he/she should apply on 24th May, 2015). However to avoid last moment rush, you are advised to submit the form at the earliest

Instructions :

** Please paste passport size photograph at the provided space, if not printed on the generated Hall Ticket.
** Each applicant is required to carry any one Original ID proof (Last qualification certificate/ Driving license/ Voter’s ID card/ Ration card/ Passport).
** Applicants will have to make their own travel and boarding arrangement for appearing in the test.

Online Test :

The salient features of the computer based Online test are :
** The applicant sits in front of the computer and the questions are presented on the monitor and the applicant submits his/her answers through the use of mouse. The computer is connected to the server, which delivers the test, in real time through a reliable connectivity.
** Online test assumes that the applicant has basic familiarity with use of computers like use of keyboard and mouse operation.
** It is the responsibility of the applicant to acquire these skills before appearing in the test and the University cannot take responsibility for the same.

Procedure for Online Test :
The applicants must ensure that the computer allotted to them is switched on and any problem with the computer should be informed to the invigilator immediately.

The questions appearing on the screen will be in English. All questions will be of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ type). Each MCQ will consist of a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement and four responses labeled A, B, C and D. One of the four responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer. Applicants must choose the correct or most appropriate answer by clicking on the button next to the answer. Applicants can navigate freely through the questions.

Rough Work :
All rough work should be done in the paper/s supplied in the Test Centre. No paper/s should be taken to the test hall for this purpose.

Negative Marking :
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

NOTE :
Amount of financial aid in case of applicant obtaining loan on the basis of letter from the University shall be forwarded in favour of sanctioning bank. However, the applicant can receive the payment in his favour only after the submission of NOC from the sanctioning bank for that purpose.
