Scholarships For Meritorious Students:
Keeping with its tradition of encouraging merit at all levels, SMVDU has recently introduced Special Scholarships for meritorious students joining the B.Tech., B.Arch. & M.B.A. Program at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University from Academic Session 2016-17.

The students fulfilling the criteria will be awarded the scholarships from the First Semester itself.
The details of the scholarships are as follows:
B.Tech.:
Eligibility for Scholarship:
** Up-to 10000 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
** Above 10000 & up-to 30000 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
** Above 30000 & up-to 50000 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
Scholarship payable:
** 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year & 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 2nd Year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
B.Arch.:
Eligibility for Scholarship:
** Up-to 500 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
** Above 500 & up-to 1000 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
** Above 1000 & up-to 1500 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination
Scholarship payable:
** 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year & 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 2nd Year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
MBA:
Eligibility for Scholarship:
** Above 90 percentile in MAT/CMAT
** 85 to 90 percentile in MAT/CMAT
** 80 to 85 percentile in MAT/CMAT
Scholarship payable:
** 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year
** Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year & 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 2nd Year
Note:
** It is pertinent to mention that additional scholarships, based on the SGPA secured by the students in each Semester, are also available for the students joining all UG & PG programs at SMVDU. On-line Filling and submission of Application Form with on-line submission of Application Fee is also available at smvdu.ac.in
** Thus even if a student joining any UG or PG program at SMVDU does not fulfill criteria for Scholarship at the time of admission, he/she stands every chance of securing a scholarship by performing well in every semester and getting a good SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average).
** It is expected that students of high merit will avail of this opportunity and make a fantastic career for themselves at SMVDU.
