AR&DB Scholarship Schemes :
Revised AR&DB Scholarship Scheme now includes the Aeronautical Engineering Undergraduate (Aeronautical Engineering) from IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, MIT Chennai, PEC Chandigarh and other various such institutions offering Aeronautical Engineering at Under Graduate level.

For Postgraduate students (Aero Engineering/ Avionics ) from IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, MIT Chennai and other academic institutions/colleges of repute offering such courses.
B.Tech AR&DB SCHOLARSHIP features are :
** No. of Seats 50 students.
** The scholarship amounts to Rs 5000/- p.m. for a period of 4 years.
** A book allowance of Rs 10000/ p.a. is also given.
** Students under the scheme are free from bond obligation. However, students will have to do their major project work at DRDO/Govt. labs or an AR&DB funded projects in any institution during their course. Also, the scholarship support can be extended upto maximum I year beyond Graduation if the scholars continue to work on a DRDO/ National Project based on Institution’s recommendation.
** Students to maintain CPI of 7 or 70% marks.
Mode of Selection (B. TECH) :
Selection in I year scholarship will be based on the merit of AIEEE/JEE or similar entrance examination for admission in the course and continuation is based on academic performance in subsequent years.
M.Tech AR&DB SCHOLARSHIP features are :
** No. of Seats :- 25 students.
** The scholarship amounts to 25% more than the MHRD scholarship p.m. for a period of 2 years.
** A book allowance of Rs10000/- (one time) is also given.
** Students under the scheme are free from bond obligation. However, students will have to do their major project work at DRDO/Govt. labs or an AR&DB funded projects in any institution during their course. Also, the scholarship support can be extended upto maximum I year beyond Post Graduation if the scholars continue to work on a DRDO/ National Project based on Institution’s recommendation.
** Students to maintain CPI of 7 or 70% marks.
** Must have at least 60% marks in undergraduate degree.
Mode of Selection (M. TECH) :
Selection in I year scholarship will be based on the recommendations of the Panel of experts duly constituted by RAC for students who have passed graduation level BE/ B Tech course in First class and continuation is based on academic performance in subsequent semesters.
