NESWF Scholarship :

** North East Students Welfare Foundation has invited scholarship applications-2016 for free seats as given below under scholarship scheme for the reserved quota in Govt. approved colleges or universities in India (Approved by AICTE/UGC, MHRD- Govt. of India and State government technical university/board).

** NESWF associated institutions have reserved 20% seats for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/ General Candidates of North-East states. Most of the NE students are not aware of these facilities & financial support provided by Government of India and college Trusts and they miss the opportunity to get higher education.

** Students get benefit of 1 to 4 lakhs rupees as discount fee in different courses in this Programme. You will be charged only 25% of college fee/tuition fee and the rest 75% fee will be managed by colleges Trust and govt. scholarship scheme.

** To avail this benefit you must fill up the application form and take admission through NESWF in its participating institutions. So you should take advantage of this Programme and get your one seat reserved in your choice college in India. Admission in Top Colleges of India. All Colleges are approved by AICTE/UGC/MHRD – Govt. of India

How to Apply:

** You must fill up the form correctly and neatly and send it to NESWF Office by registered/speed post/ courier with two extra envelops. You must write your own address with PIN code on both envelops.
** You must affix postal stamp of Rs. 25 on both envelops so that the Board of NESWF can send you counselling letter and Admission letter to your address by post. Last date: 30th April- 2016
** Candidate can also apply online Application through NESWF website,jetnic.in

Counselling Process:
** NESWF will send you the counselling letter to your address given by you. Date of counselling and address will be mentioned on the same letter. You have to come for the counselling on your particular date.
** Candidate can download counselling letter from NESWF website, (jetnic.in) on or after 5th May 2016.
** During counseling, you will be given proper knowledge of NESWF participating colleges, courses, locations, hostel, facilities and placements.
** All colleges (more than 100) given by North East Students Welfare Foundation (NESWF) are approved by AICTE/UGC/MHRD/Govt. of India and State Govt. Technical University.
** There are 20% seats are reserved for ST/SC/OBC/ Minority/ General candidates of North East who are financially backward class.
** You can select any of the colleges from the list and its branch on your choice and get one seat reserved for you on the same date Students, who are interested to take admission in their choice course and college, can fill up the allotment form and get allotment letter at the same day or you can take one/two days to finalize the college. By this way one seat will be reserved under this scholarship scheme.

Counselling Date:
** NESWF will send you the counselling letter to your address given by you. Date of counselling and address will be mentioned on the same letter. You have to come for the counselling on your particular date as mentioned on counselling letter.
** Counselling date will be announced after 10th or 12th result. (Expected date will be from 1st June 2016). Candidates must visit NESWF website time to time for more updates
** .Candidate can download counselling letter from NESWF website, (jetnic.in) on or after 5th May 2016.
** Date of counselling will be informed by counselling letter, SMS and calls. If you do not receive your letter, please call on 8761920106/8812835263.
