Scholarship For Teachers in Social Science & Languages :
Applications are invited by the Directorate of Collegiate Education under their Scheme of “Scholarship for Teachers in Social Sciences and Languages for Research in Centres Outside Kerala” from the teachers of Govt / Aided / Academic Departments of Mahatma Gandhi University.
Application Last Date : 16th January 2016
Approved Guidelines as per G.O. (Ms) No. 514 / 2015 / H.Edn, dtd.03.08.2015 is given below.
Guidelines :
** The Scheme aims to offer financial support to teachers of Social Sciences / Languages to undertake research in Universities and Centres outside Kerala.
** The teachers have to get admitted to such programmes outside the State before they apply for the grant.
** Salary of teachers who avail the scheme would be protected and reimbursed. Salary protection would be for a maximum period of one year.
** The teacher should be confirmed in permanent service.
** The upper age limit for availing the benefit will be 50 for all categories of teachers.
** Teachers who have not availed any other scholarship from UGC or other agencies will be given preference.
** The preliminary selection will be done at University level. The final shortlist and the interviews will be conducted at state level.
** The DCE will be the authority to relieve the selected teachers. The incumbent should rejoin the parent institution on expiry of the deputation, and undertake to continue in service for at least two years after the deputation.
** The applications in the prescribed format may be forwarded to the Director, College Development Council.
** The last date of receipt of applications at the Office of the DCDC is 16th January 2016.
