What is PNB Education Loan Programme?

Buddy4Study – PNB Education Loan Programme is a joint initiative offered by the Punjab National Bank and Buddy4Study to financially support Indian students for pursuing higher education in India or abroad. Under this programme, students, who are willing to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses, will be provided with a loan at interest rate starting from 8.2% (T&C apply) for education in India and abroad. Last date of application is 31st March 2025.

Eligibility of PNB Education Loan Programme

Domestic :
** Students securing admission in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and PG diploma courses at a recognized Indian institution are eligible to apply.
** Applicants must be resident Indians.
** Applicants must have secured admission to a higher education course through an entrance test/merit-based selection process after completing HSC (Class 12 or equivalent).

International:
Students must secure admission in one of the courses specified below:
** Graduation: For job-oriented professional/technical courses offered by reputed universities.
** Postgraduation: MCA, MBA, MS, etc.
** Courses conducted by CIMA – London, CPA in USA etc.
** Degree/diploma courses like aeronautical, pilot training, shipping, etc., provided competent regulatory bodies recognize these for employment abroad.
** Applicants must be resident Indians.
** Applicants must have secured admission to a higher education course through an entrance test/merit-based selection process after completing HSC (Class 12 or equivalent).

International:
Loan amount at an interest rate ranging from 9.25% to 11.25%*. Lower interest rates for female candidates*
