What is Maharshi Vithhal Ramaji Shinde Scholarship?
Maharshi Vithhal Ramaji Shinde Scholarship, Maharashtra 2024 is an initiative by the Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, for SC category students studying in Classes 1 to 10 at government or private institutions. The selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of up to ₹200 per month for 10 months. Last date of application is 31st March 2025.

Eligibility of Maharshi Vithhal Ramaji Shinde Scholarship
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
** belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community
** be studying in Classes 1 to 10 in government, government-aided, or private non-aided schools in Maharashtra
** belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) category family
** have passed in all subjects in the previous academic year
Note:
** Students must have passed the previous class to qualify for the scholarship.
** To receive the second installment of this scholarship, applicants should have at least 60% attendance in the current academic year.
** Students from all boards except those attending self-financing schools are eligible.
Benefits of Maharshi Vithhal Ramaji Shinde Scholarship
1) 1st to 4th 100/PM for 10 months.
2) 5th to 7th 150/PM for 10 months
3) 8th to 10th Rs. 200/PM for 10 months
4) Disbursement in two instalments.
Note:
No extra benefit for more than 10 months. For less than 10 months, the beneficiary will be paid for only the no. of months he attended school from the date of admission.
