What is DHE State Government Open Merit Scholarship?

State Government Open Merit Scholarship, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra to financially help Class 12 passed students of Maharashtra. Selected candidates will receive ₹100 per month. The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State. This scholarship is only applicable for stream Arts, commerce, science and law. Maharashtrian Students studying Out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. Last date of scholarship is 31st March 2025.

Eligibility of DHE State Government Open Merit Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must:-

** be a domicile of Maharashtra
** have passed Class 12 from a recognised institution
** have secured a minimum of 60% marks
** be pursuing a graduation degree in Arts, Commerce, Science, or Law

Note: Only Maharashtra residents studying within the state are eligible.

The selected students will receive up to ₹100 per month.

Candidates will be selected based on merit and fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
