What is DHE State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship?

State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to postgraduate students studying in government institutions, colleges, and non-agricultural universities. A total of 76 students will receive ₹250 per month. This includes 54 students from 10 government institutes and colleges and 22 students from 6 non-agricultural universities. Last date of application is 31st March 2025.

Terms and Conditions:
** Students domiciled in Maharashtra who are studying outside the state are ineligible for this scheme.
** Students must submit a progress report of their first year of postgraduate studies for scholarship renewal.
** The scholarship amount is disbursed directly to students’ bank accounts by the DHE office.
