What is DHE Government Research Adhichatra Scholarship?
Government Research Adhichatra, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra, aimed at providing financial assistance to students who have completed their postgraduate studies and wish to pursue a Ph.D. in government institutions. Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹750 and an additional annual allowance of ₹1,000 for other expenses. Last Date of application is 31st March 2025.

Eligibility of DHE Government Research Adhichatra Scholarship
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
1. be an Indian citizen
2. be domiciled in Maharashtra
3. have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their postgraduate degree (including B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., and M.Ed.)
4. be currently enrolled in one of the following Maharashtra institutions:
** Government Science Institutes (Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad)
** Government Vidarbha Gyan Vigyan Science Institute (Amravati)
** Vasant Rao Naik Mahavidyalaya College (Nagpur)
** Universities and their affiliated colleges
Note:
For applicants with degrees other than those listed above, a minimum of 60% marks is not required.
Benefits of DHE Government Research Adhichatra Scholarship
The selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹750 and an annual stipend of ₹1,000 for additional expenses.

Documents Required For DHE Government Research Adhichatra Scholarship
** Name of the Guide of the Students.
** Sanction letter of university for the Guide.
** Graduation and PG marklist.
** For renewal student should submit annual progresive report of his Guide.
** Applicant must be domicile of Maharashtra.
** For renewal:-Progress report of Last year.
Note:
For renewal, students must submit an annual progress report from their guide and a progress report of their own from the last academic year.
