What is Goa Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana For SC Students?

Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana For SC Students is provided by Goa Directorate of Social Welfare. To provide additional financial assistance to the SC students as the maintenance allowance given under the Post Matric Scholarship is inadequate to meet the expenses on food and travel. It also aims to provide additional allowance to cover the expenses of SC students with Disability as the disability allowances given under, the Post Matric Scholarship is not sufficient to meet the expenses of disabled students. Last date of scholarship application is 31st December, 2024.

Eligibility of Goa Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana For SC Students

SC students must have availed or be eligible for centrally sponsored Post Matric Scholarship during the current academic year.

Assistance of Goa Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana For SC Students

(a) Additional maintenance allowance of Rs. 750/- p.m. for Day Scholar and Rs. 1500/- p.m. for those staying in Hostel during the academic year (for ten months).

Registration:
Students/Beneficiaries are required to register on portal with minimum details to fill applicaiton online.

Online Application:
After Registration and login on the portal, Students can fill online application form.

Documents Upload:
Required documents has to be scanned and uploaded on portal after online application.

Submit to School / Institute / Directorate:
After application and upload of required documents, student can submit application to School/Institute/Directorate for verification.
