What is Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students?

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2024 For ST Students is provided by Goa Directorate of Tribal Welfare. Applications can apply through Chief Minister Sholarship Portal. The Objective of the scheme is to improve the educational status and arrest the tendency of drop-outs of Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes Students. The applicant should be a bonafide resident of the State of Goa. The applicant should be a regular Student of an institution. Last date of scholarship application is 31st December, 2024.

Eligibility of Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students

** The applicant should be a bonafide resident of the State of Goa. The applicant should be a regular Student of an institution.
** The combined income of the parents/guardians of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum.
** The applicant is not residing and receiving any maintenance grant in any institution under the Government or local bodies or private organizations receiving grants-in-aid from local or the Central Government.
** The applicant will not be eligible to recieve stipends or scholarships from any other source. The applicant should belong to Scheduled Tribes.
** The Student shall not be eligible twice to receive the award of stipends in the same standard.

Assistance of Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students

Class 5th and 6th -> Rs. 3575/- Per annum for both day scholars and hostellers Plus Rs. 900/- for students having marks greater than 50%. Class 7th and 8th -> Rs. 3575/- Per annum for day scholars and hostellers Plus Rs. 1000/- for students having marks greater than 50%. Class 9th -> Rs. 1125/- Per annum for day scholars Plus Rs. 1100/- for students having marks greater than 50%. Class 10th -> Rs. 1125/- Per annum for day scholars Plus Rs. 1600/- for students having marks greater than 50%.

Registration:
Students/Beneficiaries are required to register on portal with minimum details to fill applicaiton online.

Online Application:
After Registration and login on the portal, Students can fill online application form.

Documents Upload:
Required documents has to be scanned and uploaded on portal after online application.

Submit to School / Institute / Directorate:
After application and upload of required documents, student can submit application to School/Institute/Directorate for verification.
