What is MIT Design Scholarship Test?

Design Scholarship Test is a national level design entrance cum scholarship test. DST is conducted jointly for admissions into B.Des & M.Des programs at MIT ID Indore- Avantika University. DST is the gateway to Design education at MIT ID Indore- Avantika University. DST (Design Entrance cum Scholarship Test) will be conducted on December 15, 2024 in online mode.

Eligibility of MIT Design Scholarship Test

B.Des:
** 10+2 from any stream (State board/CBSE/ICSE/ISC/CIE/IB/NIOS or equivalent exam)
** 50% aggregate marks in 12th examination
** Valid score of Design Scholarship Test (DST), MIT Design Aptitude Test (DAT), UCEED, NID-DAT, NIFT in 2024-25.

M.Des:
** Graduate from any stream (10+2+3)
** 50% aggregate marks in UG degree
** Valid score of Design Scholarship Test (DST), MIT Design Aptitude Test (DAT), CEED, NID-DAT, NIFT in 2024-25.

How To Register For MIT Design Scholarship Test?

To Register For MIT Design Scholarship Test, Follow the below steps

Steps:
** Register for DST Here : https://www.avantikauniversity.edu.in/apply/register/?
** Provide the required details in the application form.
** Upload the passport-size photograph, accept the declaration, and submit the online application form.
** On scrutiny, verification, and acceptance of the application form, the Admit Card will be generated and candidates can download the Admit Card by logging in to his/ her profile on the DST portal.

Exam Details:
** DST (Design Entrance cum Scholarship Test), is conducted jointly for admission into B.Des & M.Des programs at MIT ID Indore- Avantika University. It is an MCQ-based test of 3 hours (180 minutes) duration. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
** DST (Design Entrance cum Scholarship Test) will be conducted on December 15, 2024.
** MIT ID Indore- Avantika University will release a merit list of the shortlisted candidates.
** Shortlisted candidates will be called for TCPI (Thinking Challenge and Personal Interview).

Awards of MIT Design Scholarship Test

B.Des:
** 70% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing 90% & above score in DST
** 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing between 80% – 89% score in DST
** 30% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing between 70% – 79% score in DST

M.Des:
** 70% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing 90% & above score in DST
** 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing between 80% – 89% score in DST
** 30% Scholarship on tuition fee for candidate securing between 70% – 79% score in DST

Note: Scholarship will be decided based on the percentage marks of average marks of both rounds.
