What is LPF Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship?
Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship for Girl 2024-2025 is sponsored by Lila Poonawalla Foundation. The Scholarship is open only for the Indian women. Annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 3,50,000/-. To fill your application online & submit the hard copy of the form along with required documents at LPF Office personally.
Eligibility Criteria of Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship
** Scholarship Application forms available only for the Indian women who have secured admission in any college in any of the Pune, Amravati, Wardha, Hyderabad & Bengaluru Districts.
** Total annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 3,50,000/-
** Application form fee is INR 300/- (online payment).
Required Documents For Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship
Things to Remember:
1. Keep ready details of examination marks, family income, online payment before you start to fill up the form online.
2. Do carefully read the scholarship form, and check that all your details are correct before submitting your application to our offices in particular regions (Pune, Wardha & Nagpur, Amravati, Hyderabad & Bengaluru).
3. Along with the hard copy of the form you need to submit the following documents
** Proof of age (Birth Certificate/PAN card)
** Aadhar Card
** Leaving Certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation / Diploma) as applicable to your course
** Academic Record / Marks Sheet – (10th, 12th, Graduation / Diploma entrance exam result) as applicable to your course
** Admission Letter / Allotment Letter from College and fee structure
** Result for Entrance exam (Government / college – if applicable)
4. Income proof of all earning members in the family:
** For Self Employed: Income Tax Returns for Income Tax Payer
** Salaried: Form 16 or last 3 months salary slips / Salary certificate from employer
** Farmer / Daily Wages Worker / Self Employed – Not tax payer: Income Certificate from Zilla Parishad / Local Government Authority
** Retirees or Pensioners – Pension statement from the pension authority and/or from an authorized bank showing the gross monthly pension of the family member, inclusive of any supplementary allowances and before any deductions are required
** Pensioners should also provide documents to show the official status or designation, gross salary drawn at the time of retirement and the name of the employing organization.
5. Additional documents to submit for farmer parents:
** 7/12 document, Land passbook / RTC
6. It is mandatory to submit one hard copy of the application form & candidates should personally come to submit along with the required documents (1 Original application form).
7. Only those girl’s candidates who have secured admission in the 1st year of their proposed course in academic year 2024 – 2025 can apply.
8. The scholarship is for a period of three/four academic years and is subject to the candidate passing in all subjects and securing a minimum overall score of 60% marks each academic year in the same college. For each subsequent year, the candidate will have to submit the University / College mark sheet for verification before raising the claim.
How To Apply for Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship?
You need to fill your application online & submit the hard copy of the form along with required documents at LPF Office personally. You can complete the application with the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Read all terms and conditions carefully listed on the left side of the home page. Make sure that you fulfill those criteria.
Step 2: Register and complete the Log in process.
Step 3: You will get username and password on your registered Mail ID.
Step 4: Go to home page and Login through the same username and password mentioned in mail.
Step 5: After Log in, complete all steps of form filling.
Step 6: Complete the online Payment.
Step 7: Print 1 copy of the Application form.
Step 8: Attach photograph on copy of the form and also sign of the student & parent should be at the right place on each form.
Step 9: Submission of hard copy of the form along with required documents at LPF Office.
Note:
** It is mandatory for candidate to come personally at respective LPF office as mentioned below for submission of application form. (2nd and 4th Saturday all offices are closed)
** Decision of the final selection and scholarship amount will be at the sole discretion of Board of Trustees.
** Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) official website and Application Link is the only permitted source of LPF scholarship process. We do not authorize any person and/or an entity / organization this process other than LPF staff.
