What is Tripura Science And Math Talent Search Exam?
Tripura Science And Math Talent Search Examination 2024-25 is organized by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). All students studying in Class-IX in Schools of Tripura will be eligible to appear in the Examination. Examination will be held on 29th December 2024. Students will be receive a scholarship of ₹500 per month for 15 months. Last Date of of Scholarship is 31st October 2024.
Eligibility of Tripura Science And Math Talent Search Exam
All students studying in class-IX in Government, Government aided and Privately managed(recognized) Schools of Tripura will be eligible to appear in the Examination.
Scholarship Amount of Science And Math Talent Search Exam
** 100 students will be awarded a scholarship of ₹400 per month for a duration of 15 months (covering 3 months in Class VI and 12 months in Class VII), based on their performance in the Tripura Junior Science and Mathematics Talent Search Examination.
** Similarly, the top 200 students from each Talent Search Examination (Science and Math) will receive a scholarship of ₹500 per month for 15 months (3 months in Class IX and 12 months in Class X), contingent upon their continued studies in Class VII and Class X, respectively.
Pattern of Examination for Tripura Science And Math Talent Search
1. Examination will be taken through Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and evaluation Process will be OMR sheet based.
2. Student will Apply through the online portal
3. 200 students each, for both the examinations of Science & Mathematics, as per merit list will be given a scholarship @ 500 p.m. for 15 months.
4. 60% of the Scholarship are reserved for Government & Aided Schools.
5. Top 100 scorers will be honored by the highest dignitaries of the State in a function held on the birth anniversary of renowned scientist Sir J.C. Bose i.e. 30th November.
6. Any Government school for which 5 or more students will get position in by the highest dignitaries of the State with a certificate, shawl and citation.
7. The school would be provided an additional grant of Rs. One lakh only (Rs.1,00,000/-) to buy TLM, Science/Mathematics kits, books, software etc.
8. Extra classes will be organized for students(Government & Govt.aided schools), maximum 4 hours per week for 8 weeks.

Medium of State Talent Search Examination will be English and Bengali

Syllabus of Tripura Science and Mathematics Talent Search Examination ( Class IX) and Tripura Junior Science and Mathematics Talent Search Examination ( Class VI) is enclosed herewith.
Exam-Related Information:
SCERT has developed a dedicated web portal, accessible at tripuratalentsearch.com, exclusively for the State Talent Search Examinations. Candidates will have the opportunity to submit queries and feedback on coaching classes, the pattern of question papers, and other related matters. Additionally, previous years’ question papers will be made available on the portal.
How to Apply for Science And Math Talent Search?
** Examination fee @ Rs. 50 will be charged from each student of Government / Government aided School @ Rs.100 per student of privately managed school.
** Registration Process will be started from 23rd September, 2024 and will be continued up to 31st October,2024. The Talent Search Portal will be accessible onward 23rd September.
i. New users must sign up on the portal.
ii. Complete the registration process by providing detailed information as per the prescribed format.
iii. Obtain verification from the school authority through the portal.
iv. SCERT will then approve the application.
v. Once approved, an online Admit Card will be generated.
vi. Candidates will sit for the exam.
vii. A list of the top 100 performers (for Junior Talent Search Examination) and a list for top 200 performers (for each Talent Search Examination) will be generated.
Guidelines :
** First scan all the documents & photo.
** Fill up the application form with appropriate data of concerned candidate.
** Upload all required documents, such as candidate’s photo & signature and caste & disability certificate if so applicable.
** After being complete the application form fill up and documents upload, recheck the application form before final submission. Because after final submission, any updation is not permissible.
** If, the final form submission is successful a acknowledgement will be generated, print the acknowledgment slip for future use.
** Once registration is completed, ask your HM/AHM/TIC to verify the application from school credential, after school verification application form will be accepted, else candidature may be canceled.
** After successful application submission credential will be generated automatically. The concerned candidate can signup into the website (tripuratalentsearch.com –> Student Login) by using this credential and all exam related information will be available here. The candidate can get the credential details from acknowledgement slip.
