What is Amazon Pratidhi Scholarship?
Pratidhi Scholarship 2024 is sponsored by Amazon India. School students from grades 3 to 12 who parent must be an Amazon driver associate are eligible to apply. The Pratidhi Scholarship will support children of driver associates with merit-based financial assistance of ₹6,000-10,000. At Amazon India, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their background. Last Date of Scholarship is 15th September 2024.
Amount of Pratidhi Scholarship
** The Pratidhi Scholarship will support children of driver associates with merit-based financial assistance of ₹6,000-10,000.
** The programme provides 1,200 deserving students with financial aid of ₹6,000 per year to help cover tuition fees, school supplies, and other educational expenses.
** Additionally, students with disabilities stand to receive scholarship of ₹10,000 to support their therapeutic expenses and other requirements to join school.
** Amazon India will disburse about ₹70 lakh, reinforcing its commitment to empowering young minds and ensuring equal access to quality education regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds.
Who is Eligible to Apply for Pratidhi Scholarship?
** School students from grades 3 to 12 who have socio-economic and financial need are eligible to apply.
** The applicant’s parent must be an Amazon driver associate.
Selection Process of Pratidhi Scholarship
** Buddy4study India Foundation will process successfully submitted applications, which include verification of the documents and bank details submitted.
** A final list will then be shared with Amazon to verify details of the applicants. Upon verification, the amount is disbursed to the bank account of children of eligible delivery associates.
** In addition to the Pratidhi Scholarship Program, Amazon is also taking steps to bridge the gender gap in technology with its Amazon Future Engineer programme.
About Pratidhi Scholarship :
** Amazon India is taking steps to boost educational opportunities for children of its driver associates with the 2024 edition of the Pratidhi Scholarship programme.
** Since its inception in 2022, the Pratidhi Scholarship has supported over 650 students in 2022, over 1,000 students in 2023, and around 30 children with disabilities in 2024.
** The programme not only provides financial support but also includes mentorship opportunities, with 20% of recipients benefiting from a mentorship initiative to further enhance their educational journey.
** Amazon has partnered with the Buddy4Study India Foundation to identify the most promising candidates through a rigorous evaluation process. Scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of academic merit, financial need, and demonstrated leadership potential.
