Post Matric Scholarships :
** This service aims at providing scholarship awards to students from UT of Puducherry. The Government reservation rules apply to these services.
** A total of 45 awards for under graduates and 15 awards for post graduates.
Eligiblity :
** Minimum of 60 % marks should have been obtained for science students
** Minimum of 55 % marks should have been obtained for arts students.
** Income limit of Rs.25,000/-.
Enclosures :
** 12th Standard Mark sheets.
** Income Certificates.
** Photo Identification Proof.
** Caste Certificate.
Current SLA :
The Issue of scholarship amount to the students depends upon the time taken to receive the government sanction and availability of funds.
Selected Beneficiaries receive :
For Professional Courses :
** For day scholars Rs.120/- per month for 10 months for all 3 years.
** For Hostellers Rs.300/- per month for 10 months for all 3 years.
Other Degree courses :
** For day scholars Rs.60/- per month for 10 months for 1st year and Rs.90/- per month for 10 months for 2nd and 3rd years.
** For Hostellers Rs.100/- per month for 10 months for 1st year and Rs.120/- per month for 10 months for 2nd and 3rd year.
