What is Dr. YSR UHS Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship?
UGSRS – 2024 Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship is sponsored by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. UGSRS program is only for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/NURSING/ BPT/B.Sc (MLT) & other Paramedical students from the affiliated colleges of Dr. YSRUHS. The application forms are available in Dr.YSRUHS, website. The student will be awarded a stipend and certificate only. Last Date of Scholarship is 3rd August 2024.
Number & Amount of Scholarship UGSRS
500 students (MBBS – 300, BDS–100, AYUSH–40, NURSING – 25, BPT– 25, B.Sc MLT& other Paramedical– 10) will be selected for the programme and the eligible candidates will be awarded UGSRS after submission of their project report and after review/evaluation by the committee.
The value of the Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship is Rs.5,000/- per month for two months duration (Total Rs.10,000/- only) and is meant to be a stipend for the student.
Eligibility of Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship
UGSRS program is only for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/NURSING/ BPT/B.Sc (MLT) & other Paramedical students from the affiliated colleges of Dr. YSRUHS, Vijayawada and before they appear in their final exams and therefore Interns/PG students are not eligible to apply.
Guidelines of Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship
** Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences started granting Under Graduate Student Research Scholarships in order to promote interest and aptitude for Research among Undergraduates.
** The main objective of this programme is to provide an opportunity to Undergraduate Students in institutions which are affiliated to Dr. YSR UHS to familiarize themselves with Research Methodology.
** The UGSRS application and Research Proposal should be submitted along with Application (Attestation) Forms as available in the University website drysr.uhsap.in duly certified by the Guide and Head of the Institution.
** The Application (Attestation) Form – UGSRS-2024 has to be filled-in and to submit as per the detailed instructions provided in the University website.
** Only Hard Copies of the proposals shall be received or considered.
** The Application (Attestation) Form along with Under Graduate Students Research Scholarships (UGSRS-2024) Research proposal has to be submitted to the University on or before 3rd August by 5:00 P.M. After 3rd August 2024 no application will be considered.
** Proposals through E-Mail will not be considered.
** The list of selected students to undertake UGSRS research work will be displayed on the Dr. YSR UHS, Vja website tentatively by 07-09-2024. The Institution must provide the student with all the facilities for carrying out research.
** The selected students should complete the Research Project in the prescribed time schedule i.e., in two months i.e., in September and October, 2024 and to submit the report along with UGSRS Application Form available in the University website drysr.uhsap.in on or before 30th November 2024 by 5:00 P.M.
** The student will be awarded a stipend and certificate only if his/her UGSRS report is approved by Dr. YSR UHS, Vijayawada
How to Apply for UGSRS?
1. After cut-of date i.e., 03-08-2024 any application and proposal submission or any requests will not be entertained by Dr. YSR UHS under any circumstances. Therefore, please submit applications/proposals before the cut-of date fixed by the University to avoid any last-minute delays.
2. General instructions, application form and other relevant information are herewith enclosed and the same are available in the University website drysr.uhsap.in for information and submission of proposals for Research Project by the interested students of UG courses of Dr.YSR UHS, Vja on or before 03-08-2024.
