What is Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship?

Ratti Chhatr Scholarship 2024-25 is sponsored by Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND). Students who have cleared the entrance test for B.E./B.Tech. courses at any of the IITs Indian Institute of Technology in 2024-25 are eligible. This scholarship offers financial assistance of ₹70,250 per year for four years to students admitted to B.E./B.Tech. courses. The online test will be conducted in October/November. Last Date of Scholarship is 15th August 2024.

Eligibility of Ratti Chhatr Scholarship

** Students who have cleared the entrance test for B.E./B.Tech. courses at any of the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) in 2024-25 are eligible.
** Students must have cleared their Class 12 examination with more than 75%. In case the students are awaiting their results, the application can be processed provisionally.
** The applicant’s annual family income must not be more than INR 8,00,000 from all sources.
** Open to pan-India students.
** Only candidates from the 2024-25 batch are eligible to apply.
** Children of employees of Buddy4Study and Panasonic are not eligible.

NOTE:
** Preference will be given to candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
** Students must have an admission letter and first-semester fee receipt to be eligible for this scholarship.

Selection Process of Ratti Chhatr Scholarship

The selection of scholars for the ‘Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship 2024-25’ will be made on the basis of their academic merit and financial background. It involves a multi-stage process as detailed below –
** Initial shortlisting of applications based on their academic merit and financial background
** Online test of the shortlisted candidates
** Telephonic interview of candidates qualifying the online test followed by document verification for final selection
