What is Aryabhatta Plus Scholarship Exam?

‘Aryabhatta Scholarship Examination 2024-25’ is Being Conducted in Two Modes From This Year By Jyotirgamay Education, Research And Training Institute, Pune. This Competition is for 1st Standard to 8th Standard Maharashtra SSC board students. The ‘Aryabhatta Scholarship Examination’ has been conducted for 15 consecutive years since 2008 for Marathi, Semi-English, English medium students based on SSC Board syllabus. Last Date of Scholarship is 20th July 2024.

Eligibility of Aryabhatta Plus Scholarship Exam

** This Competition is for 1st Standard to 8th Standard Maharashtra SSC board students.
** Competition will be held for English medium, Semi English medium and Marathi medium students.
** Aryabhatta Plus Online Scholarship Exam (3rd Std to 8th Std)
** Aryabhatta Main’s Offline Scholarship Exam (1st Std to 8th Std)

Exam Information of Aryabhatta Plus Scholarship

** Syllabus Based Practice Questions Will Be Made Available In Digital Format From 20th July 2024 For Exam Preparation.
** 20% Questions Will Be Asked From Practice Questions And 80% Questions Will Be Asked From The Whole Syllabus.
** As OMR Method Is Adopted In The Exam, This Exam Is Useful For The Preparation Of Various Competitive Exams In The Future.
** Along With Mathematics, Science, English, General Knowledge Has Also Been Included.

** General Knowledge Subject Consists Of 5 Sub-Subjects.
i. Banking And Finance Transactions
ii. Sports
iii. Intelligence Test
iv. Civics
v. Indian Values And Culture

** 5 Questions Of 1 Mark Each Will Be Asked For Science, Mathematics And English. Out Of This 2 Questions Will Be Easy, 1 Question Medium, 1 Question Difficult And 1 Question Will Be Asked.
** 8 Such Questions Will Be Asked In Rotation 3 Times For 24 Weeks Out Of A Total 25 Weeks. This Will Make It Easier To Measure The Student’s Comprehension Ability, Observation Power And Mental Agility.
** The Syllabus Teaching Schedule Of Schools Across Maharashtra Has Been Estimated While Selecting The Questions For Each Week Of The Examination. So That The Component Of Study By Aryabhata Will Be Of Supplementary Use For Exams And Revision For Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual Exams.
** Every Thursday Students Can Take The Exam Through A Digital Device Anytime During The Day. Time Will Be 20 Minutes For 20 Questions. After Submitting The Complete Solved Question Paper On Thursday, The Marks Of The Previous Week Will Be Visible.
** It Helps Parents-Teachers-Students To Understand The Progress/Degradation Through Various Graphs Such As Topic, Difficulty Level, Marks Obtained For The Same Question Asked In Different Ways, Total Time Taken To Solve The Question And So On.
** A Special Fee-Based Residential Workshop Will Be Organized During The Diwali Vacation For Students Who Consistently Score Low Marks.
** The Presence Of Teachers And Parents Along With The Students Will Be Mandatory To See The Progress From Diwali To 31st January.
** The Workshop Will Be Guided By Psychiatrists, Counselors, Medical Doctors And Eminent Academicians.

Format Of Examination for Aryabhatta Plus Scholarship

** Science – 05 Questions – 1 Mark Each – Total 5 Marks
** Mathematics – 05 Questions – 1 Marks For Each Question – Total 5 Marks
** English – 05 Questions – 1 Mark Each – Total 5 Marks
** General Knowledge (Banking & Finance) – 01 Question – 1 Marks
** General Knowledge (Sports) – 01 Question – 1 Marks
** General Knowledge (Intelligence Test) – 01 Question – 1 Marks
** General Knowledge (Civics) – 01 Question – 1 Marks
** General Knowledge (Indian Values And Culture) – 01 Question – 1 Marks

** The Question Paper Can Be Solved And Submitted From 00:00 Hrs To 23:59 Hrs On Thursday.
** The Question Paper Will Automatically Close After 20 Minutes After Opening The Question Paper.
** No Marks Will Be Awarded If Answers Are Not Submitted On Time. While Solving The Question Paper, If You Log Out Due To Loss Of Internet Connection Or Battery Of Mobile/Laptop, You Will Not Be Able To Solve The Question Paper Again.
** Only One Student Can Appear For The Exam From One Account.
** As The Question Paper Is To Be Solved From Home/Convenience, It Will Be The Responsibility Of The Parents To Ensure That The Student Does Not Misbehave.

Nature Of Aryabhatta Plus Scholarship

** Scholarship For Only One Student Standing First In All Subjects Per Medium, Per Class Gold Medal, Rs.5,000/- Scholarship Amount, Printed And Framed Certificate.
** Scholarship For Only One Student Coming First Per Medium, Per Class, Per Subject Incentive Medal, Rs.1,500/- Incentive Amount, Printed And Framed Certificate.

** Students Who Score More Than One Mark Will Be Counted For ‘Hard Questions’. In That Too, The ‘Reverse Questions’ Marks Of The Students Who Get The Same Marks Will Be Calculated. Even After That, The Final Round Will Be Conducted For Students With Equal Marks.

** For This Round, Any 25 Questions From The Entire Syllabus Will Have To Be Solved In Objective Format And In Limited Time, And Oral Examination Of 25 Questions Will Be Conducted Through Video Call. Out Of This The Highest Marks Will Be Declared Eligible For The Scholarship.
