What is SOF Defence Services Academician Scholarship?
Science Olympiad Foundation is pleased to announce launch of SOF Defence Services Academician Scholarship (SOF DSAS) 2024-25. SOF DSAS acknowledges the academic achievements of students from Defence Services / Internal Security families. These families make monumental contributions to the safety and security of India. Upto 260 academically brilliant students will be provided a cash award/scholarship of Rs 5000/- each and Certificate. Last Date of Scholarship is 31st December 2024.

Salient Features Of Defence Services Academician Scholarship
1. The DSAS is an annual award/scholarship.
2. Under DSAS, 260 Indian students excelling in academics will be selected.
3. The selection of winners will be done from nominations sent by schools.
4. Each selected winner will be awarded a cash scholarship of Rs.5000 and a Merit Certificate.
5. The DSAS amount will be released by 31st March, 2025.
6. The scholarship amount will be deposited in the selected students Bank account as per details provided above.
Selection Criteria of Defence Services Academician Scholarship
** School may send a proposal nominating one student for consideration for DSAS.
** Each school may nominate only one student.
** Nomination should be signed by the school Principal / Headmaster / Headmistress only.
** Nomination should be in the specified format (as above) and complete in all respects / with required attachments.
** The student being nominated must be studying in the nominating school in India in class One to class Ten.
** The school should send a copy of his/ her previous year’s report card duly certified by the Principal to SOF along with the DSAS application form.
** All nominations received will be evaluated by a Committee set up by SOF.
** Qualifiers of DSAS will be notified individually and through respective schools.
** Decision of the SOF Committee will be final and binding.
** In case of any dispute, jurisdiction will vest with Delhi courts only.
** Nomination under DSAS should be submitted by 31st Dec. 2024, at the Office of Science Olympiad Foundation.
