What is University of Exeter India Global Leaders Scholarship?

India Global Leaders Scholarship 2024-25 is sponsored by University of Exeter. The University of Exeter is offering scholarships worth £3,000 to international students from India, enrolling on an eligible Postgraduate Taught (Masters) programme in September 2024. These scholarships aim to ensure that students from this country are represented among the University’s diverse academic and cultural profile, contributing to and enriching all aspects of their chosen Masters programmes. Last Date of Scholarship is 31st July 2024.

Eligibility of Exeter India Global Leaders Scholarship

These awards are available to applicants who:
** are a citizen/passport holder of India
** are classed as an International student for fees purposes
** hold an offer to study an eligible campus-based Masters programme at the University of Exeter commencing in September 2024.

And will be received by those who go on to:
** meet the conditions of that offer as set out in their programme offer letter
** pay the tuition fee deposit by the deadline stated in the scholarship communication letter for applicants who received their offer before March 2024, or by the deposit deadline stated in their original programme offer letter for applicants who receive their offer from March 2024
** enrol on that programme in 2024/25.

Terms & Conditions of Exeter India Global Leaders Scholarship

** These awards are intended for self-funded students.

** This award will be automatically allocated to eligible applicants applying by 31 July 2024 for September 2024 entry and who have paid their deposit by the deadline as stated above
i. A separate application is not required.
ii Offer holders who do not pay their deposit in time may still be considered for scholarship but will no longer be guaranteed.

** This scholarship will be awarded as a reduction in tuition fees; it cannot be paid as cash or attributed to other charges such as accommodation fees. It will be deducted automatically from your first-year tuition fees following enrolment. If you choose to pay your tuition fees in instalments, the award will be deducted from the total annual tuition fee and the remaining balance split accordingly.

** This award is not recurrent for subsequent years of study.
** You cannot normally receive more than one scholarship from the University of Exeter; if you are eligible for multiple scholarships, you will be awarded whichever scholarship has the higher value.
** However, this scholarship can be received together with a University of Exeter Global Excellence Scholarship (£7,500 award).

** If your tuition fees will be financed by an external body (such as an overseas government or Chevening, Commonwealth or a partner Institution) with whom the University has a shared financing agreement then this award may be invalidated or superseded with a different fee arrangement.

** If you expect to receive funding from a charity this may also make you ineligible to receive this scholarship.
** It is your responsibility to inform us if you are in receipt of any external funding prior to enrolment; please email a copy of the award letter to admissions pg-ad[AT]exeter.ac.uk
** If you defer your 2024/25 offer or change fee status, then your scholarship offer will be invalidated.

** In the event that you withdraw or interrupt your studies post enrolment then the University Finance regulations at that date will apply as regards any repayment or other requirements: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/students/finance/studentfinanceregulations/

** Awardees may be asked to provide a photograph and written or video profile for inclusion in University publicity about our scholarship schemes and scholars’ study experiences.
