What is Suresh Gyan Vihar University Freeship/Scholarship?

Jay Prakash Narayan Scholarship

Gyan Vihar is committed to supporting and promoting educational opportunities for students from Bihar, and Jay Prakash Narayan Scholarship is designed perfectly to fulfill that mission. This scholarship covers tuition fees, including charges for accommodation, and is aimed at benefiting students from Bihar who meet the specified eligibility criteria.

Scholarship as per SGVU norms :
For students of Bihar
SGVUEE Score is required
Eligibility :
(1) Only for migrant students of Bihar
(2) Top 400 scorers in SGVUEE will be eligible.
(3) Minimum 60% in last qualified exam.
(4) Availing compulsory in-campus accommodation facility.

Dr Ambedkar – SGVU Scholarship

Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) is pleased to announce the Dr. Ambedkar – SGVU Scholarship program, inviting applications from eligible students hailing from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Most Backward Class (MBC), Special Backward Classes (SBC), and Other Backward Classes Below Poverty Line (OBC-BPL) categories holding Rajasthan domicile. Prospective applicants are required to complete the application process through the social welfare department portal within the stipulated timeframe.

Upon acceptance, eligible students may secure their admission by making an annual payment of Rs 10,000. It is important to note that any outstanding balance of fees, subsequent to the disbursement of the scholarship amount by the Samaj Kalyan (Social Justice and Empowerment Department), will be covered by the governing body of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, specifically the Sahitya Sadawart Samiti.

Eligibility :
(1) Only for Rajasthan State domicile students.
(2) Minimum 60% in last qualified exam.
(3) No accommodation facility (in-campus) will be provided.
In any unfortunate situation, if a student loses his/her parent (either father or mother) while studying at SGVU, Sahitya Sadawart Samiti will contribute his half of the annual fee for remaining duration of his/her study.

Note:
1. If a student is eligible for two scholarships at a time, he/she will get only one scholarship whichever is higher. Also, if the student is availing any Government scholarship, he/she will not be eligible for any scholarship of SGVU.
2. Students not complying to any one of the above-mentioned requirements for subsequent years his/her scholarship will be cancelled with immediate effect.
3. A Student whose Scholarship i s cancelled once w ill not be entitled for continuation of the scholarships.
4. Students who are availing benefit of BCCS are eligible only for Jay Prakash Narayan Scholarship.

5. Student will be given Scholarship if he/she fulfills the desired eligibility. The continuation of scholarship for subsequent years will be subject to
(a) Minimum 7.5 CGPA in the previous year examination;
(b) Minimum attendance of 75% in each semester (previous session);
(c) No backlog in the previous year Exams; and
(d) No disciplinary action against student in the previous session.

6. Candidates who are awarded the scholarship on the basis of student applications would be communicated at the time of admission and the scholarship amount would be refunded on deposition of course fee.
7. A student needs to submit all required documents at the time of submitting his application. The decision of admission will be on the basis of submitted documents. No documents would be asked individually.
8. Preference in admissions and award of scholarships is subject to approval of the competent authority. This is applicable to all the relevant scholarships.
9. Award of all the scholarships is subject to approval of the competent authority.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the President SGVU would be final and binding.

Acharya Purushottam Uttam Fellowship (Freeship)

Number of Seats: 25
100% Scholarship in Cost of study :
Students under this scheme will be exempted from paying Tuition fee, exam fee, enrollment fee, books, lodging & boarding for the entire course of study
Eligibility : On BOM`S Discretion
To be awarded to those in need
To be continued for successive years, only if the student maintains 75% or more attendance in each Semester.

Shri Suresh Sharma Memorial Fellowship

Number of Seats: 50
Under this scheme, tuition fee of the program will be waived-off for the eligible students.
(i) 100% Scholarship on Tuition Fee
Eligibility :
On BOM`S Discretion
To be awarded to those in need.
To be continued for successive years, only if the student maintains 75% or more attendance in each Semester.
(ii) 100% Merit Scholarship on Tuition Fee
Eligibility : 97.5% and above marks in 10+2 exam from recognized board
