What is AGC National Entrance Scholarship Test?
AGC NEST 2024 -National Entrance Scholarship Test is sponsored by Amritsar Group of Colleges. For studying at AGC, a centralized test was propelled in the earlier year, i.e. 2018. AGC, in the earlier year, led ACET-EE (Entrance Exam) in which 2300+ enlistments were seen. Now, a similar test is propelled with the name of AGC NEST. The test will make a student eligible to get admission in a Best Engineering College in India, Top Pharmacy College in Punjab and Law College in Amritsar.

Process of AGC NEST
1. At AGC, the admission to the following courses (for the session 2024) is based on AGC NEST (National Entrance Scholarship Exam) offering the scholarship up to Rs. 1.5 Lac.
These courses are:
** B. Tech (ME/CE/EE/CSE/Computer Engineering)
** Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
** Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
** Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B. HMCT)
** B. Sc. Fashion Design
** Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) (Honors)
** B. Pharmacy
** B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics
** Bachelor Of Tourism and Travel Management
2. Admission to B.Voc Courses i.e. B. Voc. (Hospitality & Catering Management/ Automobile Servicing/ Software Development/ Fashion Design & Garment Technology) and D.Pharmacy is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary i.e. 12th class. There will be “No Entrance Exam” for these courses but a candidate has to register online.
3. For M. Tech (CSE/CE), MBA, and MCA admission is based on the marks obtained in the graduation degree. No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
4. To Take admission in B. Tech-LEET/ B. Pharmacy-LEET/ BCA- LEET/BBA-LEET/ LLB/ BA LLB/ M.Tech (CSE/ CE)/ MBA/ MCA, the marks obtained in previously completed Diploma or the previous examination will be considered.No Entrance Exam is required but a candidate has to register online.
Registration Fee for AGC NEST
The registration fee for AGC NEST 2024 is Rs. 500/-. This covers the test eligibility till 30th June 2024. From 1st July 2024, again a fee of Rs.500 is to be paid if the student does not appear for the test till 30th June, 2024 gaining validity till the end of the month. The same condition is applied till the end of the admissions 2024.
Result :
The result of AGC NEST 2024 will be appeared on the screen as and when you complete your test. The result details will incorporate the number of questions you have correctly and incorrectly answered; the marks you have obtained and the scholarship that is awarded to you
