What is Super 75 & Super 75B Scholarship Scheme?

Super 75 & Super 75B Scholarship Scheme is sponsored by CEO, Mission Youth, J&K Government Of Jammu And Kashmir. The scheme is aimed to provide financial support to meritorious students for pursuing their academic aspirations by providing scholarships for Post Graduate Courses (Regular Mode Only). Financial support to the extent of ₹ 1.00 Lakh to eligible students pursuing postgraduate studies/ Research programmes to cover all educational expenses is being provided. Last Date of Scholarship is 01st January 2024.

Super 75 Scholarship Scheme

Mission Youth, J&K through the Office of CEO, Mission Youth, J&K invites online applications from eligible and interested FEMALE candidates from meritorious students belonging to the underprivileged section of society for applying to the scheme Super 75 to avail of the benefits of the scheme.

** The primary objective of the Scheme is to provide scholarships to meritorious candidates from marginalized sections of society for the following programs,
1. All post-graduate courses (regular courses).
2. Research Programs (Ph.D.) (regular courses)

Super 75B Scholarship Scheme

Mission Youth, J&K through the Office of CEO, Mission Youth, J&K invites online applications from eligible and interested MALE candidates from meritorious students belonging to the underprivileged section of society for applying to the scheme Super 75B to avail of the benefits of the scheme.

** The primary objective of the Scheme is to provide scholarships to meritorious candidates from marginalized sections of society for the following programs,
1. All post-graduate courses (regular courses).
2. Research Programs (Ph.D.) (regular courses)

Eligibility of Super 75 & Super 75B Scholarship Scheme

a. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) :
The scholarship would be given only to students not more than 30 years as on 01.01.2023

b. Qualification Criteria :
Only newly admitted first-year students pursuing regular course master’s Programs or Ph.D. are eligible for the scholarship.
1. For postgraduate scholarships, the candidate must have scored a minimum 50% or equivalent grade at the undergraduate in subjects. including Chemical Science, Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Applied Science, Social Science Humanities, or any equivalent course.

2. For the Research Program scholarships, the candidate must have scored a minimum 60% or an equivalent grade at the post-graduate level in the relevant subject. Ph.D. Candidates availing NET-JRF/Inspire/WOS-A or any other fellowship for Ph.D. are not eligible under this scheme.

c. Family Income :
Candidates are required to submit a copy/detail of the Income certificate issued by the competent authority during the application process. The income criterial are as follows:
1. Only the candidates having total family income from all sources not exceeding 1.00 lakh per annum shall be eligible for scholarship under the scheme. The candidate must possess a digitally signed Family Income Certificate (original scanned copy to be uploaded) issued by the Competent Authority (Tehsildar) in the format prescribed for the purpose.

The income certificate must have been issued on or after 01.06.2023.No alternate document shall be accepted in place of Income Certificate and submission of any such document shall lead to rejection of application.

2. The above income criterion is not applicable to candidates belonging to the Person with Disability (PwD) category with a disability greater than 40%.

Procedure of Selection for Super 75 & 75B Scholarship

The following structure shall be used to calculate the merit of the candidates
a) For Post-Graduate Course:
1. The calculation of merit shall be based on a three-tier assessment as follows:
a. (S1)- Undergraduate percentage
i. pro-rata basis – 60 pts
b. (S2)-Entrance Score
i. Pro-rata basis- 30 pts
c. (S3)- Entrance Rank
i. Rank 1- 10 pts
ii. Rank 2-5 pts
iii. Rank 3- 2.5 pts

2. In case of equal score, preference merit shall be decided on the basis of higher undergraduate percentage and entrance percentage in this order of preference.

3. In case of candidates selected based on entrance but the entrance is of qualifying nature with no merit list released. The candidate shall be awarded. score based on cut-off marks in the entrance subject to submission of university certified cut-off marks by the candidate.

b) For Ph.D. Course:
1. The calculation of merit shall be based on a three-tier assessment as follows:
a. (S1)- UG Score – 15 pts (Pro- rata basis)
b. (S2)- PG Score – 50 pts (Pro-rata basis)
c. (S3) – NET/GATE Qualified – 15 pts
d. (S4) – M.Phil – 05 pts
e. (S5)- Direct Selection/ Entrance
i. Direct Selection w/o Entrance (15 pts)
ii. Entrance based selection
Entrance Score 10 pts on pro rata basis
Rank in Entrance (1st -5 pts, 2nd -2.5pts)

2. In case of equal score, preference merit shall be decided on the basis of higher post-graduate percentage and UG percentage- in this order of preference.

3. In case of candidates selected based on entrance but the entrance is of qualifying nature with no merit list released. The candidate shall be awarded score based on cut-off marks in the entrance subject to submission of university certified cut-off marks by the candidate.

How to Apply for Super 75 & Super 75B Scholarship?

** APPLICANTS ARE REQUESTED TO READ THE NOTIFICATION CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION CANDIDATES ARE ALSO ADVISED TO APPLY FOR THE FAMILY INCOME CERTIFICATE IMMEDIATELY TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE ISSUED SAME WELL IN TIME.

** To apply under the Super 75 & Super 75B scheme, the candidate must visit the Mission Youth online portal. The candidates shall click on the Apply for Super 75 & Super 75B Scheme banner on the portal.
** The candidate shall fill up the Super 75 & Super 75B application form, upload a recent photograph, give an undertaking,and submit the application form.
** Candidates are advised to fill in all the details in the form very carefully to avoid mistakes/ errors.
