What is NSF PG Scholarship?

The programme offers full and part scholarships as interest-free loans. The Scholarship is awarded to selected scholars who meet the high standards defined by the Foundation. The NSF Scholarship Programme is designed for students of academic excellence pursuing postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions in India or abroad. It is a merit-based scholarship, awarded to a select few, who meet the high standards defined by the Foundation. Last Date of Scholarship is 14th March 2024.

Eligibility of PG Scholarship

** Applicant must be an Indian national, residing in India
** Applicant must be below 30 years of age as of January 31, 2024
** Applicant must have graduated from an accredited Indian University
** Students in their final year of the degree course or those awaiting results are also eligible.
** Applicants planning to pursue Postgraduate studies at top ranking institutions from Fall 2024
** Applicants who have applied and are awaiting an acceptance from the university are also eligible to apply.
** The award of scholarship is subject to securing admission.

How to Apply for PG Scholarship?

All applications for the Narotam Sekhsaria’s scholarships for post-graduation are invited by the Foundation in the month of January for every academic year.

Step 1 : Applications will open on January 4th 2024. You can pre-register now here.
Step 2 : Once successfully registered, the applicant must log in using the email address and password created during the registration process.
Step 3 : Applicant to make the payment of Rs.500/- online in order the access the application form.
Step 4 : Applicant to fill the details in ‘Full Application Part 1-2-3’ and submit the form.
Note : An automated confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.
Step 5 : Applicants shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process will be required to upload the requested documents.
Step 6 : Shortlisted candidates will need to attend interviews, which will be scheduled between April and June 2024.
Step 7 : Selected scholars will also be required to attend an Orientation Programme in July 2024. Attendance is mandatory for both the interviews and the Orientation Programme.

Deadline of application is March 14th 2024. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered and the form must be submitted by March 14, 2024.

Documents Required for PG Scholarship

Only candidates selected for the next phase will be required to submit the following documents:
** Attested copies of the mark sheets of all years of the under-graduate study and post-graduate study, if any
** Attested copies of score cards of any qualifying examination taken. (E.g. GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE, etc.)
** Acceptance letter with the fee structure
** Reference Letters
** Any document indicating an award of any other funding, scholarship, fee waiver, etc.
** Latest Income Tax Returns of parents
** Attested copy of the passport

Please note: Apart from the above-mentioned documents, the Foundation may request the applicant to submit any other document required to verify the details provided.

FAQ on PG Scholarship

Can an applicant register with different email ids?
No, an applicant cannot register with different email ids nor is it possible to change the email address once registered.

Can the form be downloaded and sent by post?
The application form can ONLY be submitted online. You will be able to access your application by logging in to your account.

When does one attach documents with the application form?
The required documents need to be uploaded online if selected for the Phase 2 of the application process.

Can one make changes to the application form?
Yes. You have the option of updating and changing the application form until it is submitted.

When will the interviews be held?
Chosen candidates will have to attend an interview sometime during May/June 2024. The Interview and Orientation are mandatory and the scholarship is subject to you attending both.

How are the candidates informed?
All candidates are informed via email.

In case an applicant can not travel to Mumbai for the interview, will it be possible to have a telephonic interview or a skype interview?
Unfortunately, no. The in-person interview is mandatory.

Are the candidates reimbursed for their travel and accommodation for the Scholarship Interviews?
No. The candidates will not be reimbursed for their travel and accommodation for the in-person interview.
