What is VSAT Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test?
VSAT-2024 Scholastic Aptitude Test is organized by Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (VFSTR) University. Candidates born on or after 1st July, 2003 and a pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks are eligible to appear for VSAT. Both online and offline modes are available to attempt VSAT. Offline mode of exam will be conducted in the campus of VFSTR. One hundred and twenty questions in objective mode are asked in VSAT. Preference in allotment of scholarship seats will be given to V-SAT’24 qualified candidates.

Amount of VSAT Scholarship
** Preference in allotment of scholarship seats will be given to V-SAT’24 qualified candidates.
** 25% of the total seats in each programme are reserved for scholarships. Out of that 5% seats with 75% scholarship, 10% seats with 50% scholarship and 10% seats with 25% scholarship. (For Example, out of 60 seats, 3 seats with 75% scholarship, 6 seats with 50% scholarship and 6 seats with 25 % scholarship).
** The scholarship seats are alloted in all programes on the basis of merit, availability of seats and first come first served basis.
** The scholarship is applicable for four years of study subject to maintaining a minimum of 7.0 CGPA in the preceding year(s) without any backlogs.
** The rank in JEE (Mains/Adv) should be All India Marks / Ranks in their respective category.

Can you inform about the language training in VFSTR ?
A very comprehensive and rewarding English language training is imparted in VFSTR. In the first year, in one semester, students have EPCS lab through which the students are trained for Cambridge certification exam called PET. In the next semester of first year, students will be trained in TEC i.e. Technical English Communication.
In the third year, the students are trained through PC lab to prepare them for Cambridge BEC certification. These two certifications are prestigious to dovetail the students for placements. Apart from these training programs, students are imparted Employability Skills Program in III year preparing them for interviews. All these programs are run by efficient and experienced English faculty.
