What is NFR Higher Technical/Professional Scholarship?

Higher Technical/Professional Scholarship For Non Gazetted Staff 2023 is sponsored by Northeast Frontier Railway. Applications are invited from Non-gazetted serving Railway employees of Group-C in pay matrix level-5 and above of HQ unit, Construction Organization, MD/CH/MLG, Dy. CMM/ PNO, Railway School at MLG, Dy. CE/Br. line/MLG, Principal S&T/Training School/PNO, Track machine organization/MLG whose wards are admitted in higher technical,/professional courses for grant of scholarship for 2023. Last Date of Scholarship is 31st December 2023.

Eligibility of Higher Technical/Professional Scholarship

Higher technical/professional scholarship is admissible in the following courses where study is continued in recognized institution.
a) Degree/Post graduate courses in Medicine including Homeopathy, Ayurvada, Unani system of medicine from recognized institute, Pharmacy, various branches of Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Environment Planning, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Nursing, IT, Bio Technology, Microbiology, Textile course from Textile Institute of Technology, Computer application, Business administration, Business management, ICWA, CA

b) Degree Courses in Pure Science.
c) Diploma courses in Medicine including Homeopathy, Ayurvada, Unani System of medicine from recognized institute, Pharmacy, various branches of Engineering,Computer Science, Architecture, Environment Planning.

d) Other courses included are LL.B. (3 YR AND5 YR) & B.A.LL.B. (HONS) & LLM, B.Sc/M.Sc (Forensic Science), M.Sc (Biotechnology/Molecular Biology), B.Sc and M.Sc in (Biochemistry, chemistry environmental science, Torensic science, food technology genetics, industrial chemistry, microbiology, nutrition and deictics, pharmaceutical chemistry, B.Sc &M.sc in Anesthesia, Critical Care, Cardiology, Renal Dialysis, Emergency Medical Services, medical laboratory technology, neurology, operation theatre technology optometry, radiography, B.Sc &M.Sc in Public Health, Hospital Administration, health economics & technology assessment, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, master of physiotherapy, Degree & Masters of Applied Psychology, Degree and masters of applied psychology, hospital management journalism & mass communication, B.Music and M. Music, etc.

e) ALL COURSES/DIPLOMAS/DEGREES SHALL BE FROM SUCH COLLEGE/INSTITUTE/UNIVERSITY WHICH ARE RECOGNISED/AFFILIATED. BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA/STATE GOVT./RECOGNITION BOARDS.

Terms & Conditions of Higher Technical/Professional Scholarship

The terms and conditions for the grant of scholarship are laid down as under:
** Scholarship will be payable on the basis of scholastic records or on submission of pass certificate/mark sheet (semester-wise/year-wise) from the session 2023.

** The scholarship once sanctioned will not be affected by death/invalidation or retirement on superannuation of the employee.

** The application for grant of scholarship will not be considered for the following circumstances:
i. The institute/university which is non-recognized by the Government.
i. Incomplete application.
iii. Any other scholarship is granted by the Government.
iv. Application received beyond last date i.e. 31.12.2023.
v. The wards of re-employed/casual labour and substitute staff

How to Submit Application Form for Higher Technical Scholarship?

The non-gazetted Railway employees who fulfill the eligible criteria may send their application to the Secretary CSBF Committee along with required scanned documents of the original to google forms or on e-mail id hqnfrtechnicalscholarship@gmail.com or in pdf format only in the enclosed proforma with self-attestation for the grant of scholarship on or before 31.12.2023.

Required Documents of Higher Technical/Professional Scholarship

The following documents to be enclosed
** ADMISSION RECEIPT OF COLLEGE/INSTITUTION
** CURRENT FAMILY DECLARATION DULY COUNTERSIGNED BY GAZETTED OFFICER & LATEST PAY SLIP
** PAN CARD OF THE STAFF and FRONT PAGE OF BANK PASS BOOK OF THE STAFF
** ATTESTED COPIES OF THE MARK SHEET/CERTIFICATE OF THE STUDENT FOR THE LAST PASSED EXAMINATION. I.E.
(i) CLASS 10TH/HSLC
(ii) CLASS 12TH/HSSLC
(iii) GRADUATION/DIPLOMA.
