What is Manipur Merit Scholarship Scheme?

Merit Scholarship Scheme for Students of Class X & XII, 2023 is sponsored by . Under the “Merit Scholarship Scheme for Students” of Class X and XII passed students who had scored highest marks in the HSLC and HSSLC Examination for the year 2023 conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM respectively. Last Date of Scholarship is 20th December, 2023.

Eligibility of Merit Scholarship Scheme

** Under the “Merit Scholarship Scheme for Students” of Class X and XII passed students who had scored highest marks in the HSLC and HSSLC Examination for the year 2023 conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM respectively.

** The eligible students for both Class X and XII can apply for the said Merit Scholarship Scheme and also renewal for the year 2022 on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) www.scholarships.gov.in.

How to Apply for Merit Scholarship Scheme?

Those students who have passed Class XII during the year 2021 and selected for the Merit Scholarship Scheme should submit Endorsement Certificate along with copies of mark sheets of the latest semester/annual examination and Aadhaar card along with the renewal form for continuation/renewal of their scholarship to the undersigned on or before 20th December, 2023 positively. Any late submission beyond the given last date shall not be entertained.

i. The applications are received online only.
ii. National Scholarships Portal (NSP) (www.scholarships.gov.in) will provide the timelines for opening & closing of the portal.
iii. The Guidelines for application, verification, selection and disbursement of scholarship will be as per the NSP.
iv. Selection list would be generated/displayed on NSP.
v. Online applications will be verified at two levels i.e by the Institute, where the student is studying and thereafter by the concerned State Higher Education Department or any other Agency/ Official nominated by the State as State Nodal Agency (both for fresh and renewal applicants).
vi. Latest guideline on Timelines will be made available on NSP.
