What is State Agriculture Scholarship Nagaland?

State Agriculture Scholarship for B.Sc. & M.Sc. Agriculture, 2023-24 is sponsored by Directorate Of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland. State Agriculture Scholarship will be applicable for all the inhabitants of Nagaland pursuing for B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture. Last Date of Scholarship is 31st January 2024.

Eligibility of State Agriculture Scholarship

A student should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship.
1. State Agriculture Scholarship will be applicable for all the inhabitants of Nagaland pursuing for B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture.
2. Application must be from Institution which has valid AISHE/UDISE code. Students who have failed in their last examination (repeaters) are not eligible to apply.
3. Applicants must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.

Instruction/Information :
1. All eligible students shall apply through the Common Scholarship Portal https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in for the session 2023-24.
2. Bank Account must be that of the applicant. Application from will be rejected if the Bank Account is not of the applicant.
3. The Department will not be responsible for non-receipt of scholarship amount due to wrong/inactive bank account details provided by the applicant.

4. Applicant is warned that if he/she gives false statement/declarations/documents etc. or otherwise obtained scholarship through fraudulent means, he/she will be blacklisted and debarred from getting scholarship under this scheme or any other scholarship schemes for the entire period of his/her studies. The scholarship amount if already paid will also be recovered.

5. Incomplete/wrong entries in the e-form or incomplete enclosure of necessary documents will be subjected to rejection. Correction/rectification after online submission will not be entertained.

1.2 Create an Account:
If you are a new user, click on the “Register” option. Provide your MOBILE Number linked with AADHAAR to get an OTP and verify the mobile. Once Mobile is verified, provide essential details such as your name, email address and create a unique password. Click on the “Register” button to proceed.

Step 2: Login
2.1 Log in to Your Account: Once your mobile number is verified, log in to your scholarship account using the credentials you created during registration.

Step 3: Fill in the User Profile
3.1 Personal Details:
Update your personal information, including name, date of birth, gender, category, Bank Account Details etc.

Step 4: Apply for Scholarship
4.1 Select your Scholarship Scheme, Institution, Institution State, Institution, District and proceed.
4.2 Academic Information: Provide details about your educational background, such as school/college name, course, year of study, etc.

Step 4: Upload Documents
4.1 Upload Required Documents: Depending on the scholarship you are applying for, you will need to upload supporting documents. Commonly required documents include:

** Aadhar card

** In case errors are found after submission, please delete the application and Re-Submit.
** If you have received Scholarship in the previous year, kindly select ‘YES’ and provide previous years Application ID while filing profile.
** In case of any issues kindly email the helpdesk with details of Registered Mobile Number, previous years Application ID (if applicable), your query and or any Screenshot / Error Message. Kindly allow us 24 hrs (working days) to check and respond to your mails.

1. Class X Admit Card
2. Copy of Progress Report of the last semester.
3. Admission Receipt from respective institution.
4. Scheduled Tribe Certificate.
5. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.
6. Aadhaar Card
7. Copy of the front page of Bank Passbook or Bank Statement (clearly indicating Account Holders Name, Account Number, Bank Branch, IFSC Code, link with Aadhaar etc.)
8. Institution Verification Form as per Annexure –I.
