What is BYJU’S IAS National Scholarship Test?
BYJU’S National Scholarship Test for IAS is for those who want to clear the Civil Services Exam in one attempt but are clueless as to how to begin the preparation. BNST-IAS is free and open to all the aspirants. Upto 90% scholarships will be awarded based on the performance in the Scholarship Test. Last date of registration is 27 Aug, 2023 – 6:00 AM. Results of BNST | IAS will be announced on 30 Aug, 2023.

Total Duration of Test: 2 hour
Total Number of Questions: 100
Syllabus of BYJU’S IAS National Scholarship Test
** Current events of national and international importance.
** History of India and Indian National Movement.
** Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
** Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
** Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
** General issues on Environmental ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization.
** General Science.
Marking Scheme:
** Every correct answer gets +2 marks.
** There is a penalty of -0.67 for each incorrect answer.
** There is no penalty for unattempted questions.
