What Is Santoor Scholarship Programme?

The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. Launched in 2016-17, the program offers support to 1800 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh. The Last Date of Santoor Scholarship Programme is 30th September 2022.

Eligibility Criteria For Santoor Scholarship Programme

Santoor Scholarship Programme eligibility criteria :
** Open only for young women from underprivileged backgrounds from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana or Chhattisgarh
** Have passed Class 10 from a local government school
** Have passed Class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2021-22
** Have enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning 2022-23

Note:
** The duration of the full-time graduate course must be minimum of 3 years.
** Students inclined towards professional courses, those showing a keen interest in pursuing their higher education in the fields of humanities, liberal arts and sciences are strongly encouraged to apply.

You can apply for Santoor Scholarship Programme by following the below steps,
Steps :
Step-1 : Go to the above link
Step-2 : Click the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step-3 : Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land onto the ‘Application Form Page’.
Step-4 : If not registered – Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Gmail account.
Step-5 : You will now be redirected to the ‘Santoor Scholarship Programme’ application form page.
Step-6 : Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
Step-7 : Fill in the required details in the online application form.
Step-8 : Upload relevant documents.
Step-9 : Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
Step-10 : If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Santoor Scholarship Programme Benefits

The winners of the scholarship will be given INR 24,000 per annum till the completion of the course. This amount can be utilised for tuition fees or other expenses incidental to education.
