JIS Alumni Scholarship For Group Institutions
We have decided to offer 20% Alumni Scholarship on the tuition fees to our students who have completed either a degree/diploma programme from any of the institutions under JIS Group and secure admission in a second degree program in any of the institutions under JIS Group including JIS University from the academic year 2020-21 onwards (BBA to MBA, B.Sc. to M.Sc./MBA, B.Tech to MBA or if any).
A student can avail any one kind of scholarship and will not be able to combine one scholarship with other. For instance a student’s availing PG Stipend or a student availing merit scholarship will not be eligible for Alumni scholarship. The students have to choose either of them
Diploma To B.Tech (Lateral) Scholarship
Scholarship of Rs.60,000/- @ Rs.10,000/- per semester is applicable only to the students who have studied their three years Diploma in Engineering in any of the institutions under JIS Group.
B.Tech Lateral Scholarship Tripura
B.Tech Lateral Scholarship Scheme for the state of Tripura. Scholarship of Rs.40,000 /- will be given for the Admission in Lateral Entry (B.Tech courses) for students from the State of Tripura for JIS University.
The details of the Scholarship policy are mentioned below:
** Candidate must be Resident of State of Tripura with valid Aadhaar Card.
** Candidate must secure minimum requisite qualification for admission in B.Tech Lateral course.
** Scholarship will be available @ Rs. 7000/- each for 1st & 2nd Semester in (2nd year) and Rs. 6500/- each from 5th to 8th Semester (3rd & 4th Year) from the existing fees structure.
** To continue availing the existing scholarship, the student must not have any year lag.
Important Terms and conditions for availing Scholarship:
A student can avail any one kind of scholarship and will not be able to combine one scholarship with other. For instance a student’s availing Alumni scholarship will not be eligible for Merit scholarship. The students have to choose either of them.
Any kind Scholarships/ Teaching assistantships are liable to be withdrawn, partially or wholly, in case of misconduct, deliberate concealment of materials/facts and/or supply of false information, and/or continued absence of more than one month except on medical grounds.
Any kind Scholarships/Teaching assistantships are liable to be reduced or terminated for a period of up to one semester on account of poor academic performance or not carrying out the assigned tasks in a satisfactory manner.
