KSBDB Saandeepani Shishya Vethana Scholarship
One of the basic objectives of the Board is to assist the education of students of the economically weaker section of Brahmin community.
Objective
The Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board (KSBDB) has decided to offer student scholarship under the Sandeepani Shishya Vethana Scheme to facilitate the education of students of the financially disadvantaged Brahmin community by providing education and other fees, text books, electronic equipment and other study equipment, hostel, transportation and clothing.
How to Apply?
Below are the steps to apply for Saandeepani Shishya Vethana Scheme through State Scholarship Portal

** Create Account
** Student Login
** Before entering the e-Attestation ID, complete the e-Attestation Process by logging in to e-Attestation Portal.
** Submit the Application after filling the e-Attestation ID and take a print out of your Post Matric Scholarship Acknowledgement for future reference.
Note :
Hard copy of applications submitted by hand will not be accepted. Even if the hard copy has already been submitted to the Board through any medium (Hard copy / email / post), it is mandatory to apply through the State Scholarship Portal. Applications accepted by any other form will not be considered.

** SSLC/10th Class Marks Card
** PUC Registration Number(for first year degree courses)
** Marks Card of last year’s studies.(Eg: For 2nd year BA student, his/her first year BA marks card)
** Eligible payment receipt as per this announcement for Fee Reimbursement
** Study certificate attested by Principal
** Unique Disablility card for Specially abled sudents issued by the
Government of India.{disability means The Persons With Disabilities in accordance with (Equal Opportunities, Protection Of Rights And Full Participation) Act, 1995} Blindness, Cerebral Palsy, Low vision, Locomotor Disability, Leprosy cured but with disability, Mental retardation, Mental illness, Hearing impairment

KARNATAKA STATE BRAHMIN DEVELOPMENT BOARD (KSBDB) was established as per the budget announcement in the year 2018-19 to uplift the economically backward brahmin communities in Karnataka with a seed capital of Rs. 20 crores for schemes and Rs. 5 crores for capital expenditure .
KSBDB is registered under Section 8 of Companies Act 2013 as State Government Company on 01st Day of March 2019. The KSBDB is registered with an object to help and uplift the brahmin community and contribute to the overall growth of economically-backward members in the Brahmin community in Karnataka.
