Objective
The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Backward Students and to enable them to complete their studies.
Who Can Apply?
In order to apply for this scholarship, an applicant must –
** Belong to general category.
** Be domicile of Tripura.
** Be studying in Classes 11 to Post graduation.
** Have Parents’/Guardian’s income not exceeding INR 1,00,000 lakh per annum.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship For EBC 2020-21.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Select State Schemes tab and Click on Tripura in the drop down list.
Step 3 : After that Click Apply link in the “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship For EBC” under Tripura
Step 4 : It will redirect to the Login Page. Enter your Application Id, Password and Captcha for Login.
Step 5 : After Login to your account select the Scholarship scheme and fill the required details to apply for the scholarship.
Step 6 : If you are a New User then Click on the Register link in the Login Page.
Step 7 : Enter all required details for registration to get your user id and password. After register your account you can Login and apply the scholarship.
Step 8 : After complete your application you will get a confirmation message to your registered email id & mobile number.
Note : Application complete in all respects, shall be submitted to the Head of the Institution/School.
Documents Required
** A copy of the application form in the prescribed format.
** A copy of the passport size photograph with the signature of the student on it.
** Attested copies of certificates, diploma, degree, etc., of all the examinations, passed.
** An income declaration by the self-employed parents/guardians.
** An original certificate of income issued by an authorised Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar.
Value Of Scholarship
The value of scholarship will include Maintenance Allowance, Reader Charges for blind students, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, Study Tour Charges/thesis typing/printing charges and book allowance for students pursuing correspondence course, for complete duration of the course.
The amount of scholarship will depend upon the course of study of the applicant. The concerned College/University/Institute will verify whether the course of study for the candidate is professional or general.
