About GNST

GNST IAS 2021 is a national level online-based test in which UPSC aspirants can participate. In this test, we recognize India’s top 30 students and reward them with Prizes and Scholarships.

It is a talent search-cum scholarship which tests the students’ proficiency & preparation for the UPSC IAS 2021.

Eligibility

If you are preparing for the Civil Services Exams, then you are eligible for this test.

How Can I Participate?

It is completely online. Take the test from the comfort and safety of your home. Gradeup UPSC CSE Scholarship Test is being held on 29th January when students can attempt this test.

Test Pattern

Gradeup UPSC Scholarship Test will be a 120 mins long and a 200 marks test. The total number of questions asked will be 100. Every correct answer will carry +2 Marks, however, every incorrect answer will deduct 1/3rd marks.

** Correct Answer = +2 Marks
** Incorrect Answer = -0.66 Marks

Syllabus

The Syllabus of Gradeup UPSC Scholarship Test will be on the following lines
1. Current events of national and international importance
2. History of India and Indian National Movement

3. Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World
4. Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc

5. Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc
6. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity, and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization
7. General Science

Result

The results of Gradeup UPSC Scholarship Test will be announced on 31st January, 2021 at 6 pm IST. The final result of the test will be declared on 31st January 2021 through email/gradeup app/website.

FAQs

1. How much is the registration fee for GNST?
The registration for GNST is completely FREE.

2. Can I take the test on my Desktop?
GNST can be taken by logging into gradeup platform using a smartphone, laptop, and desktop. However, device switching won’t be possible during the test.

3. Will I get a reward for attempting GNST?
All students who attempt the test will be given participation certificates from Gradeup
