KCMET MAITS 2020 : Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship

KCMET MAITS

The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust established the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship in 1995. This scholarship is awarded to students belonging to economically disadvantaged families, who wish to pursue a job-oriented Diploma course at a recognised Government Polytechnic in India

About MAITS

This Scholarship was established to encourage and support young students from rural and urban areas to pursue job-oriented Diplomas. This Trust awards Rs. 10,000/- per annum to 550 students annually, for a maximum period of 3 years. Till date, 10,190 students have been awarded the scholarship across India.

Eligibility Criteria

** Students of First Year Diploma & direct admission to Second year in government polytechnics are eligible for this scholarship

** Students who have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th/12th standard, and have secured admission in government or any other recognised Polytechnic Institutes for diploma courses are eligible for this scholarship

** Students who have secured more than 60% marks in the 10th board examinations

Please Note :
** Preference will be given to girl students, children from lower income group families, differently abled children, and children of armed forces personnel.

** The application form needs to be filled online and the documents requested also should be uploaded while submitting the application form,.
** Kindly go through the list of documents required and keep soft copies of the same ready before submitting the application form.

Step 3 : Fill the Application Form with the required details and attach the Enclosures.

Documents Required

List of documents required for the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship along with the way the files need to be named
1) Proof of admission from Institution where admission has been secured. (Eg: Admission letter, Allotment letter, Fee receipt, Bonafide student certificate etc)

Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_Admitletter If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_Admitletter before uploading

2) Testimonial (Recommendation letter) from any one of the two referees (teacher/employer)
Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_Recommendation If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_Recommendation before uploading

3) A short statement as to your general aptitude and interest, the type of vocation you would like to pursue and your ambitions and aspirations in life. Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_Statement If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_Statement before uploading

4) Certificate of Date of Birth as recorded in your School Certificate.
Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_Birthdate If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_Birthdate before uploading

5) Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 10th
Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_10 If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_10 before uploading

6) Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 12th (If applicable)
Example of file name: Firstname_Lastname_12 If your name is Rakesh Kumar, please save the file name as Rakesh_Kumar_12 before uploading

7) Family Income certificate copy or proof of income

8) Copy of first page of passbook or cancelled cheque

9) Aadhar card copy
