Applications are invited for Pre Matric Scholarship to ST students studying in Class I to VIII for the year 2020-21.

How to Apply?

Applicant can apply in the prescribed format given below and the same along with the relevant documents should be submitted to the Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Guwahati-06 within 10th December/2020 positively .

Note :
While submitting the proposal, the following note may kindly be strictly followed.
a) After receiving application form from the students, the Head of the Institution should fill up the Annexure-I format and submit to their respective DC/SDWO offices within time.

b) The Head ofthe Institution should check and verify the Bank Accounts and IFSC no. of the students.
c) The concemed Deputy Commissioner/ SDWO should clearly fill up the format at Annexure-IL

d) Parental Income ofthe student should not exceed the limit of Rs. 50,000/- p.a. You are therefore requested to submit the proposal as per formats issued by this Directorate on or before the last date.

Selection Process

All the applications received by the Director of Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam will be placed before the Selection Committee which will scrutinize the same and approve the list of the beneficiaries under the scheme.
