Eligibility Criteria

Droppers and Class 6th to 12th Grade students (studying in schools affiliated to any State, Central or International board) are eligible for the test.

Note : There would be different test papers for each class.

How to Participate?

VMSAT ’20 is completely Online. You will be able to attempt the test on every Sunday at 3 PM Starting 25th-Oct till 29th-Nov, 2020 by logging into VMSAT Website https://vsat.vedantu.com:443/) with your Vedantu credentials (VMSAT Login ID / Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VMSAT.

VMSAT ‘20 Structure

VMSAT ‘20 will be conducted in 2 stages.
Stage 1 :
** Mode of Test – Online
** Type of Test – Objective
** Difficulty Level – Moderate

Stage 2 :
** Mode of Test – Online (Proctored)
** Type of Test – Objective
** Difficulty Level – Difficult

Test Pattern

Category 1 : Class 6th, 7th & 8th
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT), General Science and General Mathematics
** Total 50 questions.

** All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 60 Mins

Category 2 : Class 9th & 10th
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT), General Science and General Mathematics
** Total 50 questions.

Category 3 : Class 11th JEE Aspirants
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Physics & Chemistry section will contain 12 questions each and Maths section 11 Questions (total 35 questions)

** All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 140)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 90 Mins

Category 4 : Class 11th NEET Aspirants
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 22 questions each. Biology section will contain 46 questions (Total 90 questions).

** All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 360)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 90 Mins

Category 5 : Class 12th JEE Aspirants
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Physics & Chemistry section will contain 12 questions each and Maths section 11 Questions (total 35 questions)
** All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct

** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 140)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 90 Mins

Category 6 : Class 12th NEET Aspirants
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 22 questions each. Biology section will contain 46 questions (Total 90 questions).

Scholarship Details

Scholarships would be awarded on the basis of VMSAT rank. VMSAT ranks would be generated weekly for each category and target separately.

Categories :
Class 6th to 8th, Class 9th & 10th, JEE Class 11th, NEET Class 11th, JEE Class 12th, NEET Class 12th, Droppers JEE, Droppers NEET.

FAQs

1. What if I get late due to some reason in starting the test?
It’s important to start the test on time, and we highly encourage everyone to start the test by 3 PM. However, if due to some unforeseen situation you were not able to start the test on time, we would give you the option to start the test till 30 minutes after the test start time.

And, once you start the test, you would still get 1 hour to attempt the test. However, we won’t be allowing the students to start the test after 30 minutes of test start time.

2. How and When will I get my Reward?
Step 1 : The Grand Winners will be announced after a few days of completion of VMSAT ‘20
Step 2 : Our Representative will get in touch with you
Step 3 : Fill-in a simple form and provide details of your address
Step 4 : Get your prizes delivered at your doorstep

3. If I get a scholarship, can I use it for 1-on-1 live teaching that happens on Vedantu?
NO. Scholarships are strictly designed keeping Vedantu group courses in mind. 1-on-1 live teaching doesn’t fall under this.

4. I’m an existing Vedantu student. Will I be eligible for the scholarship?
Yes, you are eligible for the scholarship only for new courses. If you perform well in the test, and score the marks required for the scholarship, you will get a scholarship for new Full Year Courses for JEE, NEET, CBSE & ICSE.

5. Is there a physical centre for VMSAT?
No, VSMT is an Online Test. You will be able to attempt the VSMT from anywhere in the world and on any device – Laptop / Desktop / Smartphones.

Please Note :
NO Scholarship will be applicable on your current courses. Scholarships will be applicable only on new Full Year Courses for JEE, NEET, CBSE & ICSE.

6. What are the dates of stage-2?
Stage 2 will be conducted on 13th December at 3 PM for the selected attendees of Stage-1.
