Online applications are invited for Dr. B.R Ambedkar Medhavi Chattar Yojna for the academic Session 2020-21.
About Yojna
To encourage the merit amongst Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes students a scheme namely “ Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojna” was launched from the year 2005-06.It is amended in 2009 which make this scheme “The Scheme of masses”as its scope has been extended up to post-graduate classes.
Now this scheme is known as “Dr. Ambedkar Sanshodhit Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojna. From the year 2005-06 no. of benficiaries were Increased from 1,495 to 10855 (2009-2010) which shows its great growth. Similarly, expenditure has also been increased from 1.49 crore to 9.25 crore.
Eligibility
** Students should be domicile of Haryana.
** The student must come from Scheduled Caste, Vimukt Jati, DNTs, Taprivas and Backward Classes.
** The annual family income from all sources should not exceed INR 4,00,000 per annum.
The SC/Vimukt Jati/DNTs/Taprivas students must have obtained the following minimum marks in the qualifying examination:
** Class 10 – 70% for urban students and 60% for rural students
** Class 12 – 75% for urban students and 70% for rural students
** Graduation – 65% for urban students and 60% for rural students
** The students belonging to backward classes (Block – A) must have obtained minimum marks of 70% (for urban students) and 60% (for rural students) in class 10.
** The students belonging to backward classes (Block – B) must have obtained minimum marks of 80% (for urban students) and 75% (for rural students) in class 10.
Rate of Incentive
Amount of incentive ranges from 8000 to 12,000 p.a.

Step 2: Click on “Register” and complete the registration.
Step 3: Login with the registered ID to proceed with the application procedure.
Step 4: Fill all the details and upload relevant documents.
Step 5: Submit the application.
Mode of Payment
Payment is made directly in the bank account of the student.

Students can apply from 11.09.2020 to 30.10.2020b and the department will ensure to issue your incentive amount immediately.
