Introduced in 2020, Goprep Talent Search Examination (GTSE) is a talent search-cum scholarship exam to recognise India’s top 1000 students and reward them with a scholarship.

Who Can Participate?

It is an online-based national level exam for students of classes 8-12 & Droppers. Students from any State, Central or International Board can participate in Goprep Talent Search Exam.

How Can I Participate?

GTSE is completely online. Take the test from the comfort and safety of your home. GTSE is being held in 2 rounds.

GTSE Round 1

Stand a chance to win up to 90% Scholarship. The Top 1000 students qualify for GTSE ROUND 2

GTSE Round 2

GTSE Test Pattern

For Classes 8, 9th & 10th :
** Objective type paper
** Science – 20 Qs
** Maths – 20 Qs
** MAT – 10 Qs
** Total – 50Q
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marketing.
** Total duration – 60 mins

For Class 11th, 12th,13th : JEE Aspirants
** Objective type paper
** Physics – 15 Qs
** Chemistry – 15 Qs
** Maths – 15 Qs
** Aptitude – 5 Qs
** Total – 50Q
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marking.
** Total duration – 60 mins

For Class 11th,12th,13th : NEET Aspirants
** Objective type paper
** Physics – 15 Qs
** Chemistry – 15 Qs
** Biology – 15 Qs
** Aptitude – 5 Qs
** Total – 50Q
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marking.
** Total duration – 60 mins

GTSE Syllabus

Students appearing for the upcoming talent search competition must prepare themselves in accordance with the exam pattern and syllabus mentioned below.

For Class 8 to 10 :
There are 3 sections in the exam- Maths, Science & General Aptitude. A total of 50 questions are asked; each question carries 2 marks. Questions will be from the syllabus of your previous class.

For Class 11 to 12+ :
There are 4 sections in the exam- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (for JEE aspirants)/Biology(for NEET aspirants), and General Aptitude. A total of 50 questions are asked; each question carries 2 marks.

GTSE Results

GTSE results for both the rounds are announced after completion of every stage separately on Goprep’s official website and app.

** The results of Stage 1 will be announced on 24th June, Wednesday at 6pm on Goprep App.
** The results of stage 2 will be announced on 1st July, Wednesday at 6pm via email

FAQs

1. How do I select class?
a. Students who appeared for final exams in March 2020 and result is declared, will select the class they are promoted to.

b. Students who appeared for final exams in March 2020 but result is awaited or exams are pending will select the next class due for promotion for Academic year April 2020 – March 2021.

c. Those students who appeared for 12th boards in March 2020 and results are awaited will select the class as 12th pass.

2. How do I select GTSE slot?
You can give the exam in any of the four slots.

3. I have two children and both want to appear for GTSE. How do I register?
You can register from two different phone nos on Goprep and appear for the exam.

4. I have given GTSE in April 2020, am I eligible to give it again?
Yes, you can attempt it again

5. I am an existing Goprep student. Will I be eligible for the scholarship?
Yes, you are eligible for the scholarship only for new courses. If you perform well in the test, and score the marks required for the scholarship, you will get scholarship for new courses
