Industry Sponsored Scholarship for M.S(R) and Ph.D. Students at Centre for Energy, IIT Guwahati:
Salient Features of the ABB’s Scholarships:
1.Maximum Two (02) Research scholarships every year including M.S. and Ph.D. registered at the Centre for Energy is sponsored by ABB India Ltd.

2.Selected Research scholar will be working on project titled “Feasibility Study on Distributed low yield gas wells based micro-grid power management system for Assam”

3.Scholarship amount:
a.Ph.D.: Rs. 35,000 per month for first two years and Rs. 38,000 per month for third and final year.
b.M.S.: Rs. 22,500 per month for first year and Rs. 25,000 per month for second year.

4.Contingency:
Rs. 1,00,000/- per research scholar to meet laboratory expenses; Rs. 50,000/- per research scholar to attend National conference and Rs. 1,00,000/- per research scholar to attend international conference during the agreement.

5.Research scholar need to specify his / her research interest while applying Ph.D / M.S program at Centre for Energy, IITG.

6.The scholars selected under this scheme will be encouraged to apply for Prime Minister Fellowship. If the candidate applies, then ABB shall provide necessary support letter for the candidate.
