Electrical Engineering Department invites post doctoral applications from bright students with good academic career who have completed their doctoral studies or will be completing it soon in following broad research areas.

The candidates are encouraged to visit the Departmental website iitk.ac.in/ee/ for more information about various research activities.
The post-doctoral fellows are expected to pursue research in mentorship of a faculty member in Electrical Engineering Department. They may also help in teaching. Although the name of mentoring faculty is not mandatory at the time of application, it is encouraged that the prospective applicant contacts the mentoring faculty before applying for post doctoral fellowship.
Appointment will be made initially for one year and it may be extended subject to satisfactory performance maximum up to three years. Fellowship amount will be Rs. 50,000/- per month for the first year, Rs. 55,000/- per month for the second year, and Rs. 60,000/- per month for the third year. The candidate will also get Rs. 1,00,000/- per year for travel and contingency. Accommodation as per availability and medical facilities as per rule will be provided.
