Girls’ Higher Education Loan Scheme :

1. Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya is a trust established with the blessings of Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Suriswarji Maharaj Saheb.

2. The application is to support higher education among needy GIRLS students who are pursuing C.A. course which in the management’s sole discretion is likely to generate employable post study opportunities for overall benefit of the Jain society.

3. The applications will be decided on merit as per internal guidelines laid down by the management and their decision shall be final and binding

4. The broad criteria for evaluation shall include the following,
a. Income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 3 lacs per year
b. The applicant should be a Swetamber Murtipujak Jain by Birth , and she shall undertake to provide all necessary documents before the release of the Loan scholarship.
c. The applicant is pursuing the course which is likely to generate income, either as self employed or as a job in an established organization, earning not less than Rs 4 lacs per year to start with.

d. The loan scholarship will aim to meet with the entire shortfall of expenditure subject to the condition that tuition classes fees will not be financed. However, the upper ceiling will be applied on a course to course basis. The amount will be released directly as fees or will be reimbursed as the need may be in the beginning of every year of study.

e. The applicant will agree to execute all such documents as stipulated by the Foundation prior to the loan scholarship disbursement.
f. The applicant shall bring notarized copy of the guarantors’ commitment prior to the release of Loan Scholarship.
g. The Loan Scholarship is refundable without interest as mutually agreed and discussed on a case to case basis. Generally, the repayment shall be over a period of 3 years after the study is over.
h. The applicant will be expected to provide her Life Insurance Policy and such other securities as stipulated on a case to case basis.

2. Admission Letter of University/ Institute for proposed study
3. Fees receipt
4. Consent letter from Parent / Guardian- Attachment 1.
5. Certificate from Sangh – Attachment 2.
6. Self appraisal form

1. Affidavit on Rs.100/ Stamp Paper- Attachment 3
2. Guarantors’ Letters on their letter head- Attachment No.4
3. Loan Agreement- Attachment No. 5
4. Advance Receipt- Attachment No. 6
5. Promissory Note-Attachment No. 7
6. Last year’s IT Return of Parents/ Guardian
7. Pan Card and Address proof
8. Last Year’s IT Returns of Guarantors

Please note that the Scholarship Amount shall be directly credited in to the Bank Account of student and under no circumstances cheque will be issued to applicants. Hence please take extra care for giving the bank details. Please attach Xerox / cancelled cheque)
