NSHM Asha Jyoti Scholarship
To empower today’s youth with a better future, NSHM is launching Asha Jyoti- a scholarship programme that will benefit 250 meritorious students with an amount worth Rs 1 crore.

There are two categories of scholarship available:
1.Merit Based Spot Scholarship
2.Higher Scholarship Based on Merit & Eligibility
Objective of the Programme:
To honor bright students with the potential to pursue Under-Graduate courses (excluding the Programs which are based on the Public Entrance Examination) with NSHM Knowledge Campus.
How many Scholarships are available?:
There are scholarships available for 250 Students across 10 Under-Graduate Programmes. The minimum Scholarship amount is approximately Rs.25,000/-
For whom the Scholarship is applicable?:
a) Category I:
i) SC/ ST/ Non-creamy-layer OBC students
ii) Differently-abled students
iii) Sports persons who have participated in State/National level
iv) Ward of a Defence Personnel
v) Ward of an Ex-Serviceman/ War Widow
vi) Means Category – annual family income <= Rs 2.5 lac
vii) Ward of a mother who is a single parent
viii) Ward of a parent who is a teaching professional
b) Category II:
i) General Category based on percentage of marks obtained in class X or class XII whichever is applicable
Eligibility:
a)Marks of Class X and/or Class XII/equivalent levels for international board examinations
b)Valid Category I certificate as mentioned above for pupil applying for the same
Merit Based Spot Scholarship:
For this scholarship, one does not need to take the test. It will be offered on the basis of marks obtained in Class X and/or Class XII
Higher Scholarship Based on Merit & Eligibility:
Every student who joins NSHM Knowledge Campus will stand a chance to apply and compete for higher Scholarships. This will depend on the diligence a student shows in his/her Semester performances also.
